Another new one started a couple of days ago but got to the point this evening where there is something to look at.
I'm doing two Imp Fist pods with all the usual signs of wear from constant use and atmospheric re-entry. This should be fun.
Both pods built, undercoated white and base yellow just added. Both pods have had the doors glued shut at my clients request.
This should be good. Subscribed.
Wow. Glow in the dark marines. I am sure Dan will love this when he sees it. Good work so far though, the yellow is nice and strong - a hard thing to do with yellow.
Getting 'em dirty is the fun part. What are you going to use for it?
I've started doing a chipped sponge effect over them to get that yellow looking knackered. Once I've finished that stage I've loads of details to work on and then weather with the scorching last. I've really thought through what pods have to go through in their use and how they might be refitted between drops concluding that they would be the most tired looking kit in the SM armoury. Expect these to look pretty beat up........but not rusty. Rust comes from neglect.
I do love the yellow of the IF, one day when I have the time I will pull my finger out and do a small force to run along side my templars.....Anyway I digress, looking lovely mate, by the way how much do you charge for commission work?
