Welcome to Librarium Online!
As a Norwegian from the North, I felt I should do a Chaos Warriors army. Also because they are dead cool. I've finished my first unit, some chaos warriors lead by a Khorne Champion. I will be painting all my warriors (regardless of Mark) in this colour scheme, but I'll try to indicate the Marks through the Champions leading them. I've also done some work on a mounted Battle Standard Bearer and a regular Chaos Knight (just to make them rank up!). Finally I've added a picture of a sorcerer with a skull on a spine emerging from his hood, Lore of Death perhaps?
Hope you like them! (my next update will be a prototype Chaos Knight)

lovely painting, works well maybe the aspiring champs bloody axe could be a bit more realistic? There are guides on this site, as well as games workshops for painting blood, if you're interested.
Love the mage idea, can't wait for it to be painted! Looking forward to seeing more.

very cool colour scheme for khorne, I was going to do something similar on my lord on the dragon but was unsure if it would look ok but you have convinced me
have a little reppage
If you want to learn how to paint blood like a pro look no further than this link it is OMG awesome
Now tell me that heart and blood smear doesnt look real
Absolutely amazing paintjob! You really personalized them while still maintaining the 'khornate' look. Subscribed and really excited to see those knights (bsb?) and mage painted!
Very nice work so far - I love that shot of the rear of the Khorne Champion, he just looks brilliant.
Best of luck with the rest of the army, I'm sure it will look just as fantastic!
First of all, welcome to LO. And secondly, that is a great looking choice of colour for the Khornites. It stays with the typical scheme of red but adds a different and distinct flair to it with the cream/white bits. That is really good.
I totally agree with Kuffy up here - grat paintjob, a little unusual yet very effective and Khornate. Oh, and nice use of HE bitz
Have some rep!
Thank you all! You are so kind
@ animated_shadow: Thanks! And I agree, I'll see what I can do about it
@ MrDee: Thanks, awesome tutorial! Let me know how that Lord comes along, I'm gonna wanna see him!
@ King Ulrik: Thank you, I rather like it here
@ LoreSeeker: yep, guess my bsb must have killed a High Elf Prince once
I have finished my first Chaos Knight (the Champion). I wanted to paint my knights red as well, even though they are going to be marked by Tzeentch, but coherence in the army is important to me. Instead I tried to add some Tzeentchy feeling through a purple/yellow shield and helmet design. I've also tried to make his sword "magical", I felt that a standard silver would be boring on weapons that are in fact magical! Hope you like him. My next paint jobs are going to include the mage and a Hellcannon crew, but I'm no fast painter, nor do I have all the time in the world, so please be patient with me
Oh btw, how do you english guys pronounce the word "tzeentch"? Here in Norway many people pronounce the e's as an i (as in the word "steed"), but I think that sounds silly and prefer to pronounce them as an e (as in the word "drench").
