well, I've been playing with WoC since the introduction of 8th and I've only just become comfortable with my force organisation and marks [mostly tzeentch with nurgle knights and slaaneshi horsemen] so I reckon it's about ******* time I picked up the paintbrush.
After making a renegade Inquisitor [well.... more of a radical...... uber radical] of Malal, I've been itching to use the colour scheme on a larger scale. I think the colours fit.
Well here are the WIP shots of my Exalted of Tzeentch,
Blue hints to black armour seemed just right for this one
The black and white skull of Malal and recurring black and
white cheques is going to be a running theme throughout
also note the weapons.... "DREADAXE THIRSTS FOR YOU!"
Don't reckon I'm winning any awards but I'm happy so far. Need to touch up that left eye that's spilling onto his cheek. Should be abler to post the finished thing tomorrow, then onto my first troops.
OOOOOooooOOOooor I can finish it just now and slap this up, roit! onto my warriors!

Well I've set myself the goal of finishing my first 1000pts before the end of October, and here it is along with the tea & coffee making facilities the warshrine is still under construction, he needs a Daemonhost and alot of chain [speaking of, does anyone know a good place to get very fine chain on t'internet?] and as you can see I've made a start on my warriors but I'll wait until I've got all the base coats on before taking closer snaps, propbably wont get anything done today or tomorrow because of work but they'll be done by the weekend..... he hopes.
Cheers Kuffy, that looks perfect, their shop's relocated to a different site though, but cheers.
Well I've got the base coats on my warriors, they look rough as toast, but hey, everything's got to start somewhere.
A badab wash as liberal as it is indiscriminate. A speedy way to add depth and bring out detail for the lazy and short of time of us [hands up for both categories....... \o/ ]
and just enough time to spend 5 minutes each for some helmet and shield metallics before bed
Well, the last couple of days have been all work no play so I've only just been able to add more to my warriors.
Finished the cloaks, boots and furs
The cloaks and boots got highlighted with shadow grey, then another badab black wash followed by yet another shadow grey highlight.
The furs were highlighted with shadow grey mixed with spacewolf grey, then with spacewolf grey and finally with a touch of skull white.
Finishing these guys by the end of the weekend is looking good but I'm having doubts about 1000pts before the end of the month
There isn't much of interest to the warshrine as it stands, it's just an empty corpse cart with a warrior champion infront. I want to add a daemonhost bound in chains [gonna use the chains to support it so it looks to be levetating] with chains wrapped from his fist around the carts yolk, a banner eitherside of the bell, some more chaos iconography and a little lacky/squire cowering beside the champion dragging it.
Well I've got the warriors essentially finished, they just need the bases doing and a banner painting [that can be tomorrows job]
I can chill out for the rest of the night now. Roit! of to make a curry for tea then "TO THE PUB" *he screams from the tanks turret access hatch*
Very nice mate! Love seeing a refreshing paint job. Looking forward to more.
Cheers Shogun, glad you like it.
Well I managed to get it done but, looking at the speed I'm painting, 1000pts os looking more like the end of November.
I'm going to start work on my Knights tomorrow, hopefully the only being 5 of them will help me pick up the pace a bit. Will be chuffed as hell if can get them and my warhounds painted by next weekend. And that shall be my next target!
Well after day 1 of Knights and warhounds, I've got as far as undercoating them.... this is mostly down to the fact that I forgot how long it takes to base the frikin things and I was massively distracted by The Inbetweeners. So no pics yet.... now TO WORK!
