So I got this commission the other day and made a concerted start on it today. 30-40 AVF's and around 150 infantry for a US forces Flames of War army. Looking forward to getting paint on these fellas as I used to do loads of historical models in my teens and twenties.
So today sees alot of building underway but still loads to clean up and make.
Very nice looking vehicles, looking forward to seeing these painted.
Jager bombs. Very efficient at wiping out friend or foe.
ooo flames of war be nice to see these painted nice, hate to say it but most flames of war armies look so basic.

My project log: High Elves (and other stuff actually, but mainly High Elves).

Cheers fellas! ;-)
Yea, there is no FoW stuff painted on LO. There is a thread area for the game but it's a little dusty in there.
Well, I've been building furiously and got most of it done. Still 3-4 platoons to do and then some work to do on all the bases before painting. I actually think that painting will be quicker than building!
So we will expect to see you again in a years time yeah?
Haha. Will be good to see what you do with them. Never paid much attention to FoW which is strange seeing as "Nazi Germany" was one of my study topics back in college :s
I've never paid much attention either which, like you is odd, as I was heavily into WWII military history through out my teens and built loads of 1/35th dioramas. The FoW painting tips on their website are dire and I have to say that the moulding of the tanks and figures is pretty poor especially considering how much they charge.
