hey there, i've been working on this army for quite some time now, and slowly it's getting some progress. it's a space wolf army, and i painted it as Herald Deathwolf's comany. that's because i love the Canis Wolfborn model, who is one of Herald's Wolf Guard, and because i like thunderwolf cavalry a lot, which are also numerous in his force.
the following pictures are just a fraction of the force that's going to be build. once in a while i'll add some pictures, here are the first ones.
Canis Wolfborn, still WIP
My own Rune Priest
Rune Priest and Wolf Guard, drop pod hammer unit, the comi-melta wolf guard are used as surprising tank killers by drop pod
The first Grey hunter squad, one melta is still to be added.
The second Grey hunter squad. here too there's another melta to be added.
This is the start of the tank company, two vindicators and a rhino, more rhino's, razorbacks and drop pods are to be added.
well this is just the start, and the're not nearly finished, hope you like it.
Looking nice think you will have a very nice army there. However it is a little hard to tell with the pictures a bit out of focus.
"Should take you a while though because of your sloth like pace"

It's looking really nice, good consistent high quality throughout, keep it up. I can't wait to get my Tau army into shape to play some battles against it.
A couple of pictures are out of focus, but the ones of canis wolfborn and the tanks are in focus. When making the pictures make sure that the camera is focussing on the models and not the accidentaly on the background. Usually you can identify it with little dots on your screen lighting up ( usually going red ) that tell you on what the camera is focussing. It's best to just take a couple of pictures and pick out the best on your computer
The tanks look good, but are a tad bland. I think they can be great with a freehand or symbol somewhere to add some detail to that big surface.
@ TBO : thanks for the info, i'll give it a shot. and the tanks are going to get some freehands, the rhino will get squad markings, and i was thinking the dozerblades on the vindicators could get a nice big freehand too.
@ Gedderz : thanks, i hope to get some better picks tomorrow with some tips from the bearded one.
try take more than one photo (3-5 is what i normally do) then pick from the best. have a tripod or balance the camera on a stack of books.
the are looking good though. im assuming the tanks are a WIP also
@ jonojoe : awesome, two posts in one minute. oh, yes the tanks are work in progres, you can see it on the dozerblades. i crossed the line with the drybrush, need to do the blade itself again. the crew aren't painted either yet.
also, i'm going to ask if were we've got the tripod, i'm sure we had it somewhere.
Ok, i'm back again. had to search the whole house for a tripod, but today i found one. i immediately started taking the pics. so here they are.
the first grey hunter pack
the pack and it's rhino together
the second grey hunter pack
the wolf guard in PA, still a lot of work to do
the terminator wolf guard and rune priest
the rune priest close up
Canis Wolfborn, still love the model, and lots to be done too.
i can't upload the vindicators, the server is too busy. maybe tomorrow. also, i'm currently working on a small pack of grey hunters, and two melta hunters for the other two packs.
photos are looking better, try an indirect light source or adjust the lighting in photoshop, some are over exposed
ok than, since i haven't had any free time lately i upload any new pics nor could i do a lot of painting, so i only have some pics of my finished Canis Wolfborn.
the oh so nice side view, it's the view that makes this model look cool.
here you can have a better look at the cloak.
front view of the wolf.
also, i can announce that the terminators are almost done, i hope to get them finished before new year, and there are some long fangs conversions coming up too.
