    Byjugo's WIP Thread

    Hi all!

I've been around on the forum for quite some time now, and i think it is time to share some of my goodies with you. Here i'll be posting pictures of my newly painted/modelled units, and possibly ask you guys for some advise.
I'm not a really regular hobbyist, so it could take quite some while between posts.

I'm collecting both a High Elf and a Goblin Army, so that's what you'll see here the most.

    Time for some pictures!

Here's a couple of pictures of my finished High Elf chariot.
I'm very fond of the model, and I still want to show it to you all even while i painted it over 6 months ago. ( had to try out the camera setup )

Here are some pictures of my latest addition to my collection. A scratch built goblin wolf chariot! I'm planning to make 3 more, so any critics and comment are welcome, so i can improve this AND future models! I want to thank @Lord Borak , because this chariot is heavily based on his version of his orc boar chariots. Without his tutorial (Da Iron Gob tribe! - Orcs)i wouldn't ever been able to produce this. So rep to you!
It's still unpainted, but i plan to start painting after i have finished all 4 of them.

Very nice work on the Elf chariot, especially the banner - it looks superb!

The Gobbo chariot also looks great, very well built. I really like the wood grain effect you have on all your planks.

Excellent work thus far, I'm keen to see more

    This is today's Progress.
I have a bit of a break from school right now, so i've spent the entire afternoon on this sweetie

It isn't completly finished, still need to do all the 'bolts', and i will make a GS banner at the back. If you think it needs any improvements, please let me know

Today I had a full afternoon planned for the hobby, and this is what i've produced today.
Please comment, I would like to hear what you think of my schratchbuilds

I've finished this chariot today. The little 'second floor' accidentally came into existence when i made the bottom floorboard too small to fit 3 goblins. In the end i'm really pleased with the result

    Some group shots:
(who doesn't like units of chariots?)

Here's the partial build of the 4th(and probably final) wolf chariot i'm building.
The main framework is done, now it's time for some more details.

I hope you like what i'm building

I was actually typing my reply before seeing your updated chariots pic anyway they all rock, but if I had to pick one I'd go with the one with the second, smaller platform. Something Goblins would do, no doubt! Oh and btw, nice use of buttons!

I think the scratchbuilds are great - I don't know what a normal goblin chariot looks like, but I love the ramshackle, cobbled-together look you have with these models. The two-tiered chariot especially seems like something gobbos would do!

    Keep up the good work
