Here;s my squad for October. 5 Wolf Scouts, 1 with Meltagun, with Wolf Guard squad leader. As mentioned before this is 128 points, and combined with last month's 208 I meet my 2 month goal of 167 a month, 334 total.

Loving that Wolf Guard Squad Leader, he looks appropriately epic. Good luck on the month. Looks like a nice mellow month to paint compared to all the minis you had in Sept.
Oh, and just noticed it, but also digging the knife strapped to your meltagunner's back. Looking foward to seeing them all painted up.

Yea I wanted to work on the smaller squad to give a little break.
Glad you mentioned the knife, that was actually brought on as part of the meltagun conversion. I chopped off the shotgun arms to use for the meltagun, but found they didn't position right with the meltagun in there, so there was a big space where the right arm had to slide forward. I popped the knife on there to fill in the gap so it worked nicely.

Sorry not much but wanted to update what I could. I've got them all basecoated, washed, and drybrushed on the armor. Also have the first coats done on the base. I unfortunately forgot I wanted to try a new base edge color and did them brown again. Will be doing the faces next. Then it's on to all the little details, but there seem to be less overall for each model. I knew this would be a busy month which is another reason I picked the small squad, had to do a lot of travelling and will be gone this weekend also. Arkham City will also not help at all.

Still no pictures but I'm almost done the squad. Just some detailing left to do, mostly in the faces and washing the metals. Should be done tonight or tomorrow.
What would anyone like to see next? I've been toying around with some list changes in my head but it should mostly say the same. I'm thinking of doing the Wolf Lord, I need to get the Terminators and want to make it my next purchase, and having one model would be a good reason to focus more on my detailing. My other thought was to do a Long Fangs squad and a Rhino, to get in some vehicle work. Any thoughts?
i think what you army needs is the forge world space wolves dreadnought, the one with the big flag either that or a vindicator so you could do some decal work on that big shield.

Picked up Terminators this weekend so I got to work on my Wolf Lord. I wanted to give him the epic cape but also equipped him with a Storm Shield, so I had to do a slight modification on the pelt that hangs down to make room for the shield. I'm also waiting til I'm done painting to glue the shield in place so for now he's one armed.
This will be 180 points meeting my monthly criteria of 167 with one model.

It took me a few glances to see the green stuff on there. He looks appropriately epic.

Thanks.
Quick update, got the armor painted along with the face, skull/bone areas, leather areas and brown basing the gold. I want him to look good since he's the Wolf Lord and all so I'm taking my time.
