Well I just got back into whole warhammer scene. So my project is to build an army to use at my local shop.
Strix of the Bjornlings
sorcerer lv 2 with MOT, Blood of Tzeentch,Biting Blade and Charmed shield
18 warriors with halberds, musician, and standard bearer with Banner of Rage
11 warriors with shields, musician, and standard bearer with standard of discipline
5 knights MOK
5 knights MOK
Lord borak give me a ton of help with my list.
Strix of the Bjornlings
haven't decide yet but i think i may green stuff some robes or just maybe turn the chain mail in front into cloth. To make him more sorcerer looking I'm open to suggestions, but think most of the look is going come from the paint job.
18 warriors with halberds
Still waiting on plastic card to come in the mail so I can make the blade part of the Halberds. Also I want to go back and fix my standard bearer arms he was first one I did.
Well that's it so far I'll post more as get more done.

MORE CHAOS!!! Awesome Borak does like Chaos!
Try adding some scrolls, some talismans and maybe a book or two to the Warrior model and he should start looking sorcerer-y. When you get round to painting him writing on the armour plates or some runes painted on can do wonders for a model His sword looks pretty sweet by the way!!
Anyway, I'm subscribed!!!
Ooo looking good. Did you kitbash those halberds? If you did that front rank are looking a lot better than mine!
If you feel up to it using a little greenstuff to add fire to the sorcerer to represent eldritch flames could be nice. Possibly paint the fur on his shoulders as feathers for more of a tzeentchian feel as well.
manage get some green stuff work done on my sorcerer. I added a scrolls, tabard with a gem belt buckle. Thinking for the paint mixing dark blue and one of my light metal colors 50/50 for base color.
yes the halberds are kitbash the 1st and 2nd rows are made with 1 hand weapons hands(hammers and axes), while the 3nd row are made with the banner staffs with the left hand is one with the sword just with blade and handle cut off. If you want some tips on converting them just ask.
thank you guys for all the positive feed back, I'll be posting more as I get more done.
Great stuff, nice to see more new blogs on there and more chaos. Some great conversion work, do you have a plan for the colours?
This is my first one with paint on it. Its not done still have areas that need to be painted. but pictures should give you idea of color I'm using. Still trying to work out a good method of painting the green swirls, like them to be more complex I was sort of going for a Celtic look. The cloaks are white because to me fluff wise it make sense they hunt a lot of animals with white/arctic coats. I'm open to any suggestions to help improve the look.
Swirls and general tattoo like stuff is a complete git. There's no real quick way to do them, it's just a lot of practice, a steady hand and a fine brush. I know some people who have used a fine black pen to do writing, maybe you could try the same? Otherwise I'd just practise on a painting tile with a brush till you get the knack of it It's why I did/do.
As for the Cloak. Deneb stone is a really good base for white. Then if you just mix some white with Deneb it highlights up really nicely. Foundation paints give you a really good coverage too and will shave some time off your painting
"evil laugh" thanks for idea think going try premix airbrush paint in my drafting pen set some time tonight. worst comes to worst just be cleaning it out with thinner. ATM I don't have any Citadel paints I'm using the P3 paints but I think I have a light grey or at the very least I know i can mix some up. If I get some good results I'll post them up.
update: so I got it to work but most likely be a day or two before get some pictures up showing how well it did work since my test model was one the took pictures of earlier.
