After working on my SM's for so long, for those of you that know Star Wardens, I decided to make a Chaos SM army too (A very small one a that) Doing this for more of the pleasure. Basic gist of the army is mutation! The units will consists of boils and flesh forming or inhabiting their body, this being foreign chaos body parts. All the units will have chaos arms for cc weapons, some will have flesh forming over ranged weapons etc.
The color scheme is going to be mid/darker yellow armor with light blue flesh. I feel this will be a good contrast and make things pop. The bases are just grass.
Here is a little bit of what I did today just messing around seeing what it would look like. Still applying more green stuff as we speak to get that flesh work going
Looks good! I quite like the flesh colour, there seems to be a lot of depth to that blue even though it's quite a light colour
It is interesting, the painting is well done but I find the blue a bit overpowering. The mustard yellow is a nice choice but with the quite bright blue I am finding it to be too much. I don't know if it the tone of the blue or the yellow and blue together.

I am upset with the comments on not liking the blue. I like the very stark color, signifies his transformation and tainted soul.... but I can tone it down a little i suppose.
I think what everybody's talking about is that the yellow is so muted, and the blue is so bright, so it definitely draws the eye first. Since it's just the hand, it draws attention away from the model. You see the same thing when people use too bright a colour for their power weapons.
So it's not that it's not a good shading of blue, just that it's such a contrast away from your model's yellow.
But definitely, at the end of the day, go with what you like best.
