Thanks, I think I paint too much red, every army I have seems to have a ton of it everywhere.
I've found using a purple wash first in the deepest parts followed by a red one really make the shadowy parts a bit deeper

May have to try that on some of my empire. Thanks for the tip!

Been making some more marauders.. they are either basecoated in part of primed in brown, loads of unit fillers coming in now
Firstly my 2 unit fillers, both four by four, first is a tree infected with nurgle rot and second is a converted rat ogre... both playing with the theme of this unit emerging from the woods malformed and wanting vengence
Next one of the creepiest bases I have made in a while, a nurlge champion model from years ago with a little girl (forgot the manufacturor of this mini) with some tentacles and evil crap coming out of the floor
All this unit will either be led by Festus or Wulkrik, and the wanderer is getting near the end of my queue for the painting table, can't wait, really love this model
And some regular guys
Still another 20 to make up, have another large unit filler to come (75x50 marauders with dogs) and some more regular joes

I love the variety you have in this list. Big units of marauders can tend to look quite regimented unless you do a bit of converting. And you have done plenty and some unit fillers.

Yeah, its pretty much the only reason I have so many WoC, there is just so much potential for variency with each unit due to marks and other ideas. With every other army I have got bored after painting 20-60 troops, but still loving these guys.
Bit of a break over the weekend but Monday/Tuesday I'll hopefully get some more paint on the ones I have started

They look awesome dude. I really like the hell cannon, however it does look a little too skinny and too obviously tyranid. I would like to have seen something larger and bulkier, to suggest where you can get the 'blast radius' for the cannon shot. Other than that, I like the colours, you have done well with the look.

Yeah was probably a little lazy, the headswap didn't differentiate it too well from the original model... kept thinking of widening the barrel a little, but metal is a pain in the arse to work with.
Going to try and wrap it up quick and get back to my marauders, theres about 60 now![]()
