    WIP Tyranids

Well around a month ago i decided that i was going to start 40k again after neglecting it for some time and just sticking to WFB , After trolling the forum and looking at models i decided i was going to go with a Tyranid army , as i love some of the new models and they "shouldnt" be to hard to make look good as iv allways been more of a modeler and gamer than a painter.

So i looked online and made a purchase but i think i kinda over did it for a first buy of a new army so im making this thread to help motivate me to keep going and to get the army complete.

Half my order arrived today and just waiting on the other half to come in afew days , think that was abit of a god send tho to be honest as its less daunting now alltho i still know what i have coming.

    Arrived:

    2-Tervigon/Tyrannofex
    20-Gargoyles
    3-Zoanthrope
    3-Hive Guard

    Waiting on:

    2-Tyranid Battleforce's
    3-Carnifex

i allso have the Forge World winged hive tyrant.

I looked around the net for pictures of insects to aid my decision but in the end was inspired by the old genestealers colors partly. My Hive fleet Prometheus has a dark blue skin color with bone carapace plates. I personally like so many color schemes it was hard to choose but it pays to pick one and stick to it even if you're not sure at first so you can keep you're army uniform.
