Well I decided I would start up a log again, in this log will be work from my 3 fantasy armies, Dark Elves, Vampire Counts and Warriors of Chaos.

Vampire Countess




So basically this is going to be my general, I still have some work to do on her and I'm not 100% sure about the skirt color. I also need to find another vampire model. I'm thinking I will either bitz ordering one of the plastic vampires from the throne kit and then converting her to be on foot or just get hold of one the heads and use it with the avatars of war vampire, any suggestions?

Grave Guard



Well this is still really early work, not sure if I will be able to make all 29 like this, it really depends if I can find some more on ebay, I might have to get a box of greatswords and mix and match them abit (hopefully not). I wanted something which I hadn't seen before, any suggestions?

Finally a bloodied vampire.I like her but something i just cant quite find looks amiss.

Thanks, yeah I have been thinking the same thing, I think its the skirt, might not have been the best choice of color.

A friend of mine said I should do the skirt purple, not so sure on that myself, the ribbon might look better if it matched her cloak

Hm...I think that the actual problem is that there is no contrast in colours.What about something more vibrant?

Well is the slight reworked version of the graveguard.




Now I have a problem on what exactly to do about getting more Grave guard, at the moment it seems like I have two options.

1) cry and buy them from ebay, I have found a box of 10 for £62 + £9 P&p
2) find an alernate to convert the remaining 10 models from.

3) make some kind of unit filler (I have a harry the hammer base laying about) and try and just get a few on ebay.

These actually seem like a pretty viable option to use for the basis of a conversion, of course part of me is thinking I should just bite the bullet, get the models on ebay and be done with it and have a very unique looking grave guard unit (I have seen one done like this yet).
