Wow, these are looking good. I really like how you've done the finished ones so far and I like the leg conversion using plasticard. It looks like you fixed the rebreather too. I'm just wondering because I was about to do some stuff with guitar wire, are you painting it so it matches the other metalics or simply leaving it in it's natural metallic color?
Oh and btw, Xenomarineskiller,

I'd also like to congratulate you on finishing with the most tidious of works- the preparing (it's my No1 hate-task).
Looking forward on seing what poses and conversions you've got planned for those
Keep up the good work!
What is this heresy?! Updates!? *Takes out the torch, fork and assembles lynching mob*
Looking good. A question though, shouldn't the arms be attached to the bodies and not the bases..? Could be some mutation in the gene-seed I guess.
Everything gets painted. Partially this is for simplicitys sake, but also because a large part of the point of painting is to trick the eye into thinking the object is real, and on an object as small as a GW mini, you need to highlight and shade for it to look 'natural'. Odd, but true.Originally Posted by Warrior47
lol... You silly Camel you... For those amongst us without brains, the arms are detached for painting, so that I can get at all the details that would normally be obscured by the bolter. You know, the bits you can't actually see.Originally Posted by Da Mighty Camel

OK, bordering on spam, but what the hell.
As per Caulin's moaning (see Kuffys blog), I've added quick links to the first post, so now you won't have to read all my smack talking etc. Aren't I lovely?
Also, the bases are now 'finished' (as in painted, but not grassed and snowed yet), but nothing else has been done. Therefore no pics, as they aren't very different, and I can't be bothered.
Tomorrow, I'm having a game or two with my Eldar buddy. I'll see if I can take some pics and write a battle report all nice and stuff. Might not be able to. Don't expect great things, as I'm using a list composed soley of things I have painted, and it isn't all that similar to the one I've been (semi-)proxying over the past few games. More info tomorrow, if I can be bothered.

Wow. I go for a week and you get, what, four? Partly assembled and painted marines done. Good boy. You keep it up and.. well, I'll be checking what Bugman's serve.

*insert random smack talk here*
Also, that's 5 marines nearly partially painted.
^_-
Anyway, just a quick update to say:
Battle report up over *here*
Hopefully some pics of progress tonight!
