After an extended break from painting, gaming, fun, etc., I've decided to continue painting up my Imperial Guard. Now, I haven't a solid list: At the moment, I just know I need Guardsmen and lots of them. I'll edit this post later with my army list, but for the moment it's leaning in the direction of Mechanized [98th Cadian Armored Company] to begin with so I can get on the battlefield sooner than later. As I game with the army and get a feel for how they play, I'll make it more infantry oriented to have more balanced options.
As of Monday (when I started painting again) I've gotten 2 more Guardsmen done. It doesn't sound like much, but I'm getting the hang of it again. Besides, the average grunt takes me 3 hours to paint! Slow and steady wins the race, eh?
I'll post new pictures when I get more done. Thanks for tuning in!
A huge welcomme back! I, and many others, have wondered where you went since you disappeared without trace! Now get on with the painting and show us some pics. I'll be waiting for it!
Completely agree with Camel. Your guardsmen are amazing and i've been waiting for new updates for ages!
Looking forward to seeing new pics.

Welcome back, it’s been too long.
I'm looking forward to some new, inspiring pictures to shamelessly plagiarise.
I wish i was able to paint my guardsmen like that. i just cant seem to care enough for the little blighters. my sarges are my best paint jobs but you just put them to shame!
What i would like to know is how you get such soft edges? mine always come out a little sharp and when i do soft they end up looking like ive overdone the paint!
Well see if you can keep pace with my blog i paint v fast (hence not as well) but i leave huge gaps in between painting batches. Hopefully your blog wil help me slow down and paint better!
Looking forward to seeing your progress!
Great to see you back! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us this time.
Thanks for letting me get a head start on my DH army first, but I have a feeling I'll be falling behind again soon.
Marion: You're not the man I knew ten years ago.
Indiana: It's not the years, honey, it's the mileage.
For the last time, there are
NO FEMALE SPACE MARINES!!!!!
Wow those are great! I'd hate to be the guardsman who has to put his face next to the plasma gun to use the scope.
