    Chaos Renegades WIP

As Iíve finally finished my IG Tanks:
    http://www.librarium-online.com/foru...ad.php?t=90964 (Re-painted Tanks)

Feeling both satisfied with the results and relieved that itís over (I donít think Iím going to try painting so many largish models at the same time again), I feel itís time to succumb once more to the lure of Chaos, in the guise of some more chaos renegades. So far I have about a platoon made up of various Necromunda figures:

and a squad made from the FW renegades, with a second WIP.

The first squad were mainly IG bits mixed with the FW torsos, whilst the WIP have the FW arms as well.

Also putting together a command squad, plus a couple of transports.

Swapped this guyís gun over .

    What do you think?
What do you suggest to add to it? Iím liking the renegade Ogryns from FW.
Will post new picís as I progress.

    I like it!

Though, I don't really know what to make of the first figures (the Necromunda ones) as I prefer a more uniform look instead of "random". But they al look good I do like the FW models painted up. Makes me want to start LatD too. But given the price of the FW models.. .I don't know

I know what you mean about the Necro figures, after not playing the game for a long time the models got recycled as chaos cultists, a sort of prototype for the renegades. The idea was that they did'nt look uniform, but ad-hock and chaotic.
The colour scheme was slightly influenced by them, but due to all the FW models having gas masks I think they would look odd fielded together. Thatís my excuse to paint up some more.

All the gaps have been filled and the black primer is dry.
Will post new pix once uniforms are done.

Apart from your general awsomness there is one thing with those guys that I think could be slightly improved. They are so clean looking.
I'd love to see some mud and bloodstains on them.
    Other than that... hail you.

    Thanks mate,
Funny you should mention that. . . . The first squad are on my desk, at present, waiting for an attack of the dirty paintbrush!

Finally got around to putting some paint on this lot.
Only the cloth so far, it's not pretty and will get another wash. The masks have just had one layer of base coat so far.

Is that an original FW plasmagunner?
It looks great I must say, I love the attitude he shows. Such a vast difference compared to the hipshooting kind that is far to common. I'll steal this idea.
