Well, time to play a long wanted army- Grey Knights. So, why play these expensive bad boys? The rules are annoying and painting them is always a blast. As well as winning too. Gotta love winning. Anyway- Here's my to do list for 1000 points.
2x Justicars- Primed/WIP
10x Grey Knights- Built-ish
2x Land Raiders- Primed. Need more grey paint before I do these
Now, my Grandmaster-
So, thats all for now. I'll continue my 2 justicars and get them posted in due time.
did you shake the can of non-shine w/e you sprayed on the model? it looks really dusty for some reason.
i like the paint scheme, it could be a bit more detailed however, especially since the grandmaster is UBER cool and the leader of your whole army! lol try unique colors and whatnot to really make him stand out! just some suggestions!
keep up the good work!
Yeah I shook it, and I guess half-arsing it doesn't work as well when your going for picture perfect eh? It looks amazing in real life, the dusty effect didn't show up at all. Maybe my camera hates me...yeah..thats it...
Edit- I work with a specific limited palette on minitures due to the fact I never want to stray and get a 'rainbow' effect. Also, I figured the purple would contrast it enough for a little sheen. And the gold. I was going to do straight metal, but then someone said gold would look good, and well, here we are.
