Has anybody here heard of a paper-and-pencil RPG based arround Diablo?
Yes, I know there was a D&D expansion with the world of Diablo, but I mean something a little simpler, good for introducing first-time RPG players.
If anyone here knows about something the likes of, please let me know.
There wasn't just a Diablo expansion. I seem to remember more then one book about the game, one of which was actually good (I think there was a 3rd edition of it, maybe that's it).
Don't quote me though, I don't know that much about it. Kind of remember hearing it though.
can someone tell me what D&D is?!

Well, you could make up your own rules pretty easy.
Druid-another tough one
Sorcerrer-elemental sorc or wizard, there is an elemental prestige class somewhere, I think its one of the forgotten realms books (like that helps).
I think thats it...
And, I think Diablo would work best with d10 anyway, like Exalted, if you've ever played it. The skill tree thing is similar.
I think for first time rp players, just make up your own world thats based on diablo. Have the rouge encampment and make them do quests and stuff. Would be pretty easy, just have to make up stats and stuff.
Good Luck (Y)

I saw something in Barnes and Noble one time that looked like a starter set of some sort or another and it had the barbarian on the front. I loked at it and it came with like a rulebook and was for introducing new players, but I can't honestly tell you when. I'd look for it on the net.
