Hello all you DnD wizards, sorcerers, bards, clerics, and all other magic wielders out there, does anyone else besides me use psionics in their campaigns? if you do, please post anything psi-related (yes i'm obsessed), and if you dont, you can tell us why (too much power, etc, etc. . .).

I use them. Infact, the campaign I am running now uses them. I post my parties character sheets on my websight here if you wan't to see the Psions character sheet. They did NOT become a vampire because they wanted to become one either.

Personally, i have used Psionics since the Handbook for 2nd Ed - but at higher levels, Temporal Stasis was too powerful.
In 3rd ed, i felt that they were actually underpowered and of little utility, which only compounded the problem of the somewhat arcane mecanics. This changed with the release of the 3.5 Expanded Handbook, where some of the Dark Sun races were featured, along with a much easier to intergrate system. As soon as i get chance to use it, i'll let you know....

Our two weapons are fear and surprise... and ruthless efficiency....
Our three weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...
and an almost fanatical devotion to the Emperor....
    Our four... no...
Amongst our weapons... Amongst our weaponry...
are such elements as fear, surprise...

    I'll come in again.

One issure i have is the removal of psionica combat. They only removed it prolly because too many people complained, but i thought the basic componets and idea behind psionic combat was absolutely ingenious. I'm prolly gonna even keep it for my campaign, even in v. 3.5.

Well.....the Original Psionic Combat has been around in that form since about '82, so perhaps they thought it was time for an upgrade to the rules? (and we didn't really use it then - see if you can get a look at a PHB from that time..)
I don't see much to complain about to be honest - in the 3rd Ed Handbook, Psionisicts weren't as powerful as an equivalent level mage or sorcerer - thats been rectified to some extent, and the psionic combat against a non-psionicist was actually quite biased towards the "neutral".

Together with the material from the wizards website, i see psionicists as fianly having reached the point where they can be played on a equal field.
