If you have a copy of the DMG, or even the Epic level handbook, both have one line themes for adventures, all you need to do is to expand from there.
The iron crowned is getting closer,
Swings his hammer down on him,
Like a thunderstorm he's crushing,
Down the Noldor's proudest king.
Under my foot, so hopeless it seems.
You've troubled my day, now feel the pain.

If you could give some more info then it should be easy to help you.
-What kindof world is this?
-How much fantasy is involved here and what kindof campaign are you playing (you want mega ninja dragons who wield the globes of temporal timeshifting...or some intriguing city plot with aristocrats and silent assassins?)
Also...details on group composition and such.
Your fluffraping hurts my eyes. - TehDarkPredator
Or you could go buy a camp. setting... my buddies and I are playing the Forgotten Realms setting Fearun... awesome background and adventure to boot.
Agreed, but then it does have gibberlings. They're as pathetic as they sound (CR 1/3! )Originally posted by Koiring@Feb 8 2005, 12:46

But yeah, what setting are you playing in? Faerun, Eberron, Ravenloft, Greyhawk, Neverwinter, or a setting of your own creation?
I DM alot of games, in fact I'm currently doing both an Eberron campaign with the range of adventures that were released, and a 15th adventure of my own creation. Gives us some help here?
Also, what books do you have? Once we know, we may be able to reccommend some monsters from them. If you don't have certain book, like the Libre Mortis, or MM3, then advice can be given based on that.
Also, I wouldn't look in the ELH if I were you, the adventure ideas that they give are the sort you could only expect high level characters to complete. Sure you could build they up with lesser adventures, but by the time they give high enough to do it, you would either have forgotten what their aim was in the first place, or you may have thought of your own ideas. Stick with the ideas in the DMG, and you can't go wrong. They're simple and easy to build an adventure for. Once you get started and become more confident, you'll be speelling them out like the pros from WotC.
