Welcome to Librarium Online!
With the release of Final Fantasy 10 and 10-2, two major factions have been created: THose that think these two games are the greatest in the series, and those that much prefer the older games because of their deep storylines. In other words: Sexual appeal and nice graphics or great story and great gameplay? I happen to think that 10 and 10-2 were absolutely horrible and the guys at Square/Enix relied soley on the sexual appeal of the female characters to sell the games. Not to mention the Materia System was the best magic system EVER. Anyways, what are ya'll's thoughts?
10 was great. I liked it. The characters made me hit my head against the wall sometimes (they were so DUM, but overall I loved it.
10-2 sucked Sin balls.
Finaly Fantasy 6 and 7 were by far the 2 greatest FFs to grace this planet. Great story lines, awesome characters, details...who cared if one was 2D and the other sported the worst 3D graphics I've seen in a while.
However, sometime after 7 was released Square took a turn from story and focused more on the aesthetic values of there games. 8 was ok...then 9...and then Enix came and dragged square to hell. Hopefully 12 will be good, and maybe Advent Children will bring back some hope.
There is already a Final Fantasy thread.
