ill need 4 people to join (for starting) later on others can join and ill fold them into the game. heres what you need:
im not setting any actualy bondaries on the stats but remember to be realistic.
and little patience.
since im not planning on leaving people behind in the rp just cause they cant get to their computer.
the story will gradualy unfold as you explore it, youll get more to know when 4 people have joined
character notes: all chars must be approved by me since i dont want power gaming.
when the game starts ill open a action thread and this thread will be used for XP and OOC talk.
edit: combat! very important:
when fighting using, what ever system ive made up for this game its important that you start of saying what you wanna do, then i roll in RL if you sucseed and PM you if you do.
First I'd like to say thanks for starting this up again Second I'd like to say that I apologize for anything I might have said. That done, the resaon I asked was that the RPG "Enter the Realms of Chaos" hasn't even begun and I've sent Cheese a reply inquiring to it's beginning. Is this one still going on, I've seen that the date is the 15th? I was just wondering if it's still on because I'd really like to play.
That sucks Well, if you still want to do something with this, I'll be here ready to go.
oh cool, warhammer using some D and D elements. cool stuff. gimme a while, and i'll see what i can work up, if tis all cool with you.
This is Warhammer RPG right? Meaning it's using the warhammer rpg system? If so, then what classes and races are available? Also what weapons, armor and equipment? I know this seems like a lot, but a quick overview will more than suffice since I have never even seen the Warhammer RPG system. If it's using D&D, then I got the book for that( just about any edition). Thanks loads
any thing in the warhammer system allmost.. for all i care you could be a high elf warlock engineer. just maybe not to populair then but you set the limits just remember i have to approve im. races= they have to be able to fit into the group so yeah.. playing a khorn blood thirster may not be to good a idea.
This sounds interesting, I think IĀ“m in... IĀ“ll send you my char via messaging, tel me if I need tochange him up...
This actually sounds fun, I might join in when I get back from my vacation sometime around monday 25th July, perhaps if I can see an approved character by then I'll make one and join your game
Race: Half Elf, 43
equibment: Bastard Sword, Long Bow, Dark green cloak and leggings, a brown tunic, hardened leather armor dyed light green, with gold inlay, 3-7 quivers of arrows, three fathoms of rope, a hatchet, a satchel of herbs (I know what your thinking...yes possibly), a water bladder, and bracer (nothing special)
background story: The boy was born of a Elven maid who was ravaged by a marauding human army. When the boy was three he was cast out into the woods away from Elven society. As he wandered the forest in search of his mom, he happened upon a human encampment, not knowing the hostilitys at the time. When the soldiers saw him they immedatly locked him in a cage, and teased and proded him for the next 3 years of his life. When he had the chance, he would watch the human soldiers practice fight. When the war came to an end, it saw him as a slave boy, driving teams of horses. When horses acted up, they would whip the horses. The boy knew first hand what they were going through, and symapthized. He treated the animals well and they never acted up to him. After many years the 17 year old could sense what they were thinking and feeling, almost instinctivly.
Eventually, the humans started wondering into Elvish territory again. This time they attacked his camp with the full fury of their armies. Everyone was needed to fight, so they gave him a sword and shoved him into the heaviest of fighting. While the comapny was charging he couldn't help notcing the simlaritys between him and the enemy. But as his life was on the line from both directions, he fought with the savagry of a cornered bear wounding many of the enemy before suffering a blow to the head.
When he came to he was tied to a cart moving through the woods. All around him he could see the elves in their dull leather armor. One of them said something to others in their tongue prompting a laugh from them all. The cart stopped. The one who had spoken got off his horse and pulled out a dagger. He then sawed through his arm bonds, and helped him up. He said many things in strange tongues before the boy understood what he was saying.
"What is your name?" asked the leader.
"I have no name." responded the boy
"Then you shall be known as Dirathor Tancristion." announced the leader.
During the march to wherever they going, Dirathor learned of the Elves, the Human Empire, and the wars that had been waged between them becasue of the humans desecration of the forest. Here he also learned that he was infact half elf, promised not to attack the elves if they would let him walk. It was a few days later when he arrived in the elven village, Mellindƫ on the edge of Mithfalas. Evey soul in the village came to great the warriors. The elf introduced the new one, and begged the town to welcome him as one of their own. After this he questioned one of the other elves why he was able to do this. The elf that Lhunthonion was an Elven prince. A beneolent leader with great wisdom and the respect of his people. And it would do the newcomer well to respect the leader.
Over the months Dirathor, began to realize this, and under Lhunthonion's careful tutelage began to learn the ways of the Elves, and fighting. He learned to speak MaikaiĆ¢th Elvish, which, with practice of all the subtle ways of pronoucing and emphasis can take the place of body language and communicate very complex ideas with a few words. Considered an art by many elves. Simpler than this, he learned to communicate by animal sounds, and used this to better understand what a beast was saying, called Nevsanga'NilglĆ*n. He was learned quickly how and when to fight, how to avoid it, and which weapons to use when it came time. He found, unlike most elves that the Bastard sword fit his tastes perfectly. He also became very proficient at the long bow, traditional weapon of the Elves. Among these and others, he learned how to heal, farm, hide, and channel the spirits of the forest through his body. However, due to his past experiances, he was cold, suspicous, and practically a hermit.
When elves of this vilage turn 30, it is expected that they are to go out in the world and learn what the can by themselves. They are given their choice of equipment and sent away for 25 years, meely a drop in the bucket for elves. He chose the weapons he was proficent at, and cloths to help him blend in wherever he went. He has spent the last 13 years wandering the world, blending in as human and as elf, offen do to the facct that he wears his hooded cloak every where, covering up his ears and face. Every book he has come accross he reads and every profesion he has found he takes time to learn a bit of it. He has currently come to (this town) seeking knowledge of where to find the army that were his preivous "owners."
You forgot special abilitys-
-Watcher of the forest- Can slip through the tree as if he was a spectre, in forest, can hide in shadows.
-Herbs and spices- Due to years of having to take care of himself, he learned a few folk remedies that work, this power is the equivelent of Lay-on-hands.
-Charm animals- He knows what frightens animals and can calm them down. He was x chance of charming an animal.
