Lured in by the catchy title, well, who wouldnt be?
I just ordered the "Iron Kingdoms Character guide" book today, after reading about the world and Warmachine online for a few weeks.
Since we have a Warmachine forum I thought I'd put out the question, does anyone out there play the Iron Kingdoms roleplaying game?
Any thoughts on some of the usual focus points for roleplaying games: good/bad sides of the game, imbalances, favorite races/classes, enough fluff, artwork?
How about the other books, any experiences with them?
I saw this game on the privateer press site. what is it all about?
I've read through the character guide and the thing that sold me (even though I haven't purchased the book yet) is how it starts.
No promises of guns, crazy magic or something like that...but a description of the moons. I loved that detail and it's something I keep making up myself so seeing that care put in made me love Iron kingdoms.
I've only played a single session...I was a 10th level gun mage and by Menoth do those guys deal damage (slew a Light Warjack by myself *gloat*).
I see alot of potential for that system and can't wait until I get my gribbly claws into my own copy so I can reverse engineer it into my own world...mmm...
