"Captain! Three Cruisers inbound!"
"Hard to starboard, fire all remaining weapons!"
There was a momentary judder as the ships weapons fired off a life-ending volley of ballistics as it turned.
Lieutenant Rogers surveyed the status of the fleet.
"Two more transports down sir!" he relayed.
Captain Vaniam strode over, his cigar flicking back and forth beneath his walrus moustach.
"That only leaves three transports, what about our offensive craft?"
The Lieutenant glanced at the screen before him. "One badly crippled Gothic Class Cruiser, and three Cobra Class destroyers remaining, including oursleves!"
Capatin Vaniam's brow furrowed, his convoy was being obliterated before his eyes and there was little chance or retaliating...or surviving.
Suddenly Lieutenant Rogers began jabbing madly at buttons.
"Sir we have incoming! Boarding craft!" he shrieked as he slammed a multitude of buttons simultaneously.
Red lights began to flash around the bridge and Rogers span in his seat.
"Don't worry I'm on it!" exclaimed the man Rogers had addressed. "Two down, three, four....oh frak!"
The ship vibrated menacingly as outside a dozen boarding vessels impacted against the hull and began chewing through the metal.
"Lieutenant, get on the comms to Captain Heifer, see if any of his boys can repel our intruders, that's if they aren't all dead already!" instructed Vaniam as he watched the monitor indicate the infiltrators spreading forth from their vessels.....
OK, we're aboard the ship and the boarding craft have hit, we will take the roles of Captain Heifer's team, and the Veterans of Gold Squadron.
Choose carefully, because this particular RP is going to get very intense.
Captain Heifer - Ghost22
Guardsman w/Meltagun - Open
Guardsman w/Master-Vox - Open
2 x Guardsmen w/Laspistol & Chainsword - Open, Open
Vet. Sergeant w/Bolt Pistol & Chainsword - Open
Vet. w/Vox-Caster - Open
Vet. w/Bolt Pistol & Chainsword - Open
2 x Vet. w/Shotgun - Open, Open
Take your pick of character and we'll get this delightfully (and intimately) planned RP up and running!!
ill be the Vet. w/Bolt Pistol & Chainsword if that is ok with you
Well it doen't look like anybodies interested in any of my RP's anymore, so I shall take them to another site, where they will be appreciated for their worksmanship!!!
Lets see it takes you 2 weeks to respond to one of your own threads, then throw an utter tantrum at the fact its not going yet!Originally Posted by Ghost22

Really the nerve of some people- sorry about him.
i think that he was kidding night shade
OK first, I had a week of no internet access, and second I do attend college, work comes before leisure, if you had four assignments to hand in on the same week you'd be working rather than browsing the forums too!Originally Posted by Deadly NightshadeI never "recruited" other RPG players to my own forum, I simply PM'ed a few friends on LO and asked them if they'd join, I never threatened them to join or anything as sinister as that. Whether they told others about my site was up to them but I most certainly wasn't "recruiting" as you so delicately put it!Originally Posted by Deadly NightshadeWhine? Who whined? Whining would be multiple posts which would attempt to get more people to sign up. No sir, I never whined, there was once a time on LO where people would almost beg me to start RPG's, and now since Knape97 banned me it seems everyone has moved on to the more boring and mediocre RPG's. Not only that, but after I was banned I know a lot of people turned against the Mods because my RPG's were so popular. So i think thats a case of my ban made people lose interest somewhat on LO.Originally Posted by Deadly NightshadeNow that's just plain rude, if I were in a position to do something about that statement I would, but since you're the Mod and I'm the lowly little member who nothing matters baout. Then i just have to sit here and take it don't I? You Mods are all the same, power hungy and will do whatever it takes to keep that power. At least on my own site I'm not harsh and restrictive over the tiniest little things, I listen to what my members tell me and I shape the site to how they ask me to. Something I think a lot of the Mods on LO don't understand.Originally Posted by Deadly NightshadeAnd no i wasn't.Originally Posted by Obsidian
OK, There, you have my views, they were not put across in any flame-posting sort of way, they were merely constructive critisim. What actions you take from here I can have no say in.
I do have the right to apologise on your behalf, nowhere in this thread do you mention a minimum number of players. Perhaps if you had been clearer on this point then more people would have joined.
Recruitment is a major part of being a successful GM, its unfair to blame other people for the time you could not put in.
I mean did you consider that if you were busy with assignments then possibly other people were too?
If this thread is still open and functioning at all i should very much like to play as the gaurdsman with melta gun.
