Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hey. How's it going? Good. That's awesome.
To get straight to the point. I'm putting together a roleplay. It's going to begin in a town, then hopefully spreading to the whole Old World. First, I must recruit some players. Let me give you some extra information.
The small town of Rikkenburg has had some strange happenings lately. People are dissapearing, livestock is found slaughtered, and people are just generally feeling uneasy. No one knows what's going on. The town elders called a meeting, questioning what they should do with this situation. The meeting went on for some time. Finally, a decision was reached. A message was sent via horse and rider to the neighboring town of Vicksburg. Luckily for the townspeople, a passing(Newly formed) adventuring troupe decided to aid the them in their predicament. As soon as they are ready, they'll be setting off for Rikkenburg.
Yeah, not the best intro. I'm trying not to give anything away though, that just kills the interest for -me-. I don't know about you guys, but my actual roleplaying group has no idea what I'm going to throw at them every other weekend.
Characters - They're going to be fun. I'm not putting any limitations(Save for...they can't be Elves, Lizardmen, Chaos Warriors, etc.) on the character creation, just let it be within some form of reason. Think about who would be travelling with a group around the Old World, a Bretonnian Knight, a Dwarf Slayer, an Empire Swordsman, a Mercenary Pikeman, a Practitioner of Medicine, stuff like that.
So, basically, a character sheet should look like this-
Any extra information you want to put is awesome, but I'm just sticking to the mandatory information.
I'm not going to 'take part' in the roleplay per se', seeing as how I'm GM'ing this, I'll be 'taking part' as every NPC(Non Playable Character) your characters will meet. So, yeah, I guess I am taking part. Any questions about creating a character, PM me or IM me at psychomilitant on either Yahoo or AIM. I'll be happy to answer any questions or even just talk about your character or roleplaying.
Any questions about the roleplay in general, just post here. Like I said, I'm trying not to give too much information away. That makes you feel like your character, not knowing what's going to happen. So...
If you want, have at it.
Thanks for the interest,

Yet in his stronghold (Angaz Kazad) the seams of minerals are running dry, and so he has been dispatched to find and prospect new mining locations. Not wanting to travel alone, it's always best to have a friend on the road, he decided to join this party...
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.
Name: Carlos Caratacus

Alright, I think we can get started. Three people is a great number to start out with in a roleplay. If anyone else wants to join up, that would be awesome. Don't be afraid to join in on the story, I'll fit anybody in the storyline.
I'm going to go ahead and post what I need to. Here's a little 'color coded' thing for you guys to distinguish between what's going on in my posts.
GM'ing will be done in black. That means if someone finds something, the setting, etc. Seeing as how all OOC will take place here, in the OOC thread, this will work.
NPC's will be in red. Whatever an NPC does will be in red. This includes talking, attacking, running away, etc.
The only colors you guys need to worry about are red and black. So...yeah.
I'll be posting on the Action Thread section in a moment. So, whenever you guys are ready.
Let's get started! ^_^
Name: Raziel Warwulf
Height: 6' 0" (185 cm)
Weight: 140 pounds (70 Kilo's)
Further description: A slender but not that tall man with an athletic build. He has a prayer scripted on his chest. His pale white skin and ravenhair hint him being Kislevit.
Weapons: Long Skinning Knife, Long Bow.
Equipment: Light Armour, Black Robe.
Background: Raziel is known to be around for a while, but little know were he came from. Raziel was a son of a Kislevit Cossack. He road around with his father since he was a little boy. His sharp sight, hyper-activity and his nature to sleep no more than a 4 hours a day earned him a position as watchman. Raziel's father taught the boy everything he knew about combat and riding. In Raziel's 13th year on the grounds of Mordheim Haakon, a Streltsi, friend of his father came to him after the hunt. They had been ambushed by Chaos Marauders. They had been overrun and many man had fallen to the Marauders' throwing axes. The Streltsi brought forth Raziel's family knife, which had been carried by his Father for 16 years. Passing forth the Ancestral Knife meant the death of his father. Raziel took the blade and a mantle received as gift from his unknown mother he rode out on his fathers horse to never return again.
Raziel has lived with a band of Reiklanders he met on his journeys. Raziel was their sentry on their long hunts. In return he got fed and tutoring in the art of marksmanship. At his 20th birthday Raziel set out into Vicksburg, testing his skills again. While his fathers horse had died he would not walk the journey. The Reiklanders were great breeders, and in his years with them Raziel saw them breed the most beautiful and strongest of horses. A black merry called Irene was the result of his fathers steed and an Elven-bred merry. Either way, he rides as the wind.
Skills: He is stealthy and can meld with his surroundings so well that he is able to keep hidden from even the great bears of Kislev. If his cloak has anything to do with it no-one knows for sure. Although it's rumoured to be Elven.
Awesome Wulfbanes, I'm glad to see your interested. In fact, I'm glad to see that all of you are interested. It's been a while since I've ran an online roleplay(I run a roleplay every two weeks with a few friends, we've been doing it for three years already...) and I'm pretty much doing it like I would do a roleplay that's not on the internet. Posting like we were all in a room with reference books and all that.
Glad to see you're all interested, and I must now save some information!
No problem GamemasterZ, I like fantasy and 40k and loved to participate in any RP of them since I knew it. Only from start though, and now it happens that I am the first poster.
A little question though, can I keep ma horsey, or do we all get stiffed in a wagon with Gerhardt.
I am afraid of confined areas...
You can keep the horse. There's no law saying that all members must travel in a cart. If any character has a horse and doesn't want it to be turned into glue, you can have your character ride it anywhere.
P.S. - I don't know why I forgot to put the posting order, but here it is.
Then of course, my GM'ing will be after all posts are made.
I'm asking that everyone only make one post a 'turn', that gives everyone a chance to post and not really miss anything.
If you guys want to chat while you're waiting for others to post, contact me on both Yahoo and AIM at psychomilitant
It's gonna' say I'm offline on Yahoo, but that's the way I stay. Like a ninja. Invisible.
