I was thinking, what if to an alternative to fighting other fighters, players can also do npc encounters.
What i mean is, they can talk to one of the regular GM's and can do sort of a mini-battle against some NPC's:
for example, Dae'koroloth talks to a regular GM and the GM decides;
you are attacking a small imperial com-station in order to take down the communications of the enemy before an upcoming battle. So the player would fight say 5 guardsmen(low Hp models) controled by the GM. experiance would work out as normal(2 if finish with 10 hp left, 1 if finish with less than 10 but kill all the NPCs) also, in the battle each NPC rolls a seperate initiative:
the guards men roll 8, 15, 6, 14, and 18 for thier initiative, Dae'koroloth rolls 13.
therefore, first guardsmen 1, 2, and 3 would strike, then Dae'koroloth, followed by Guardsmen 4 and 5.
Most NPC's would have low hp and Atk dice.
tell me what you think.
I've made some NPC stats for basic enemies in the 40k universe, but we will keep them a secret for now.

That is not dead which may eternal lie,
for in strange aeons even death may die.
These look good mate, however, I'd hate to have to come up against any of those buggers, it'll be difficult for just a normal human (in my case. ) to take down a Monstrous Creature.
I'd think you're more likely to find Genestealers and Genestealer Cults than Hive Tyrants...
Sure, I've got a few minutes.
Just set the thread up.
