Well as my first post on this section of LO I am unsure of whats not allowed and what is....I found the pinned post topic thingo at the top a little unhelpful.
After the most recent Eldar codex came out they finally decided to put harlequins officially into the rules (Hurah!) well until I found out that this didn't include any harlequin jetbikes, HQ, Solitaire ect.... although it did include many benefits one of them being the fact that now harlequin troupes can and do win combat often, with great advances into the area of the shadow seer and the overall rules.
So the idea was to write a set of rules that allow harlequins to be played once more as a full
force not just as an elite choice so that would include rules for the solitaire, grand harlequin, slight alterations to death jesters, jetbikes an armoury and the viper like transport thingo.
doing all this whilst relatively keeping to the new rules so harlequin kisses do rending damage and the furious charge rule ect ect...
All in all This would be a Rule writing, rewriting and integration project. to in the end produce a set of house rules to make harlequins a playable army.

Me, Ambivalent? Well, yes and no.
If you want to do this then i suggest that the best starting point for an idea like this is the eldar online codex that is based on the citadel journal version. This has great ideas about harlequins which have several rules similair to Dark Eldar Wyches. I havent had a chance to see the new harlequins play or even properly read their rules.
I will be willing to help out on this just give me some time and i'll come up with a few rules to start off the codex and will playtest the rules so long as we dont make to many major changes.
Dont hold out for a games workshop codex just get your opponents permission and you are allowed to play them using the citadel journal codex which is still very strong and will dismantel marines if there is enough terrain on the board.
