    Codex: Marrinian Guards 2.0

    This is the newest version of the Codex: Marrinian Guards. I know its not perfect so I would like to have a critique if possible please.

    Special Rules:
    Leadership: See rule on page 38 of Codex: Imperial Guard
    Military Staff: The Field Marshal may be accompanied by a military staff. Note that a Field Marshal and his military staff count as a single HQ choice.

    Options: Up to three veterans may have one of the following upgrades:
    -Standard Bearer at +5pts
    -Medic at +5pts
    -Vox caster at +5pts. The vox caster may be upgraded to a master vox at +25pts.

    Special Rules:
    "For the Cause!": A Marrinian Guardsmen knows what could happen to the Marrinian System if they lose the war. With this knowledge Marrinian Guardsmen will stand thier ground rather than falling back. If the squad with this rule fails a morale or leadership test will be pinned down instead of falling back.

    Special Rules:
    Arm of Marrius: Throughout Marrius's military carreer he has recieved multiple injures, some that still affect him to this day. One injury that will always affect him was the loss of his entire left arm which he replaced with a special bionic arm that has a hidden dagger. For one turn Marrius can use the Arm of Marrius that gives him +1A.

    If I may suggest, the loss of the left arm on the Marshal should be emphasized further by adding perhaps some rule that gives him an disadvantage (and fluff opportunities!).

    For example, he may have had it torn off by Tyranids so he gets preferred enemy, or maybe it was vaporized by some plasma weapon, so when charging a unit that has any plasma weapon, he gets -1 Initiative to show that he recognizes and rightly fears it.

    but that wouldnt sound anything like the character I developed. I do agree that he needs a negative special rule to balance hime out.
