Simply to bring it up. I was going to start it yesterday, but I failed to remember so much of it that I thought it more worthy to simply ctrl+c ctrl+v it.

But, here's a bit of stuff.

    Codex: Kiith Somtaaw.
    Racial Overview
The Somtaaw are a new race to the Galaxy, travelling via a sort of hyperspatial rift to hunt after an organism they were sworn to wipe out forever. They were once deep-space miners with aspirations to achieve status with their own kind's other "kiith"s and unwittingly unleashed what they call "The Beast". Now reformed as a warrior clan, they still have the spirit and strength of miners, but aren't truly adapted to warfare yet.

    Why play a Somtaaw army?
The army is a tactically and strategically diverse force that has a wide variety of choices for similarly role-filling units. The sheer choice avaliable to the player will intrigue the mind of any tactical or theoretic player, and the choices (though misleading and misdirecting at times) are forgiving enough for begining players to survive.

The Somtaaw player will also rely much on chance. The basic weapon avaliable to the Somtaaw is more powerful than most, but all armour is effective aganst it, where the basic upgrade weapon is weak in strength, but often tears through armur as if it wasn't there.

    Gameplay style
Kiith Somtaaw works together in a vast web of support, relying on their leaders to show the way for the basic warriors to act, and without these statured individuals the army can crumble easily. But these leaders aren't weak, they can be armed with a devastating array of weapons that will neutralise all kinds of threats, and there are powerful defenders avaliable to protect these treasured warriors. The tactics of Kiith Somtaaw aren't simple, but they offer a wider sense of flexibility than the more rigid races of Warhammer 40,000.

    Brief overview of FoC
    HQ
Nova Commander: - Elite of the elite. Fleet commanders launched planetside in the direst of times.
War-sa: - Commander of the regular armies. Dedicated soldier with a vast array of wargear.
Exosuit War-sa: - Same as normal War-sa but better armoured and more mobile.
Kitthid Council: - Retinue for Standard War-sa.
Sajuuk-maac Spectre: - Intra-kiith Cult figurehead. Dedicated assault war machine.

    Elites
Sajuuk-maac Cult: - Intra-kiith Cult warriors. Infiltrating assaulters.
Beastwar Veterans: - Revered warriors who have seen horrors. Versatile and tenacious troopers.
Haleel Sentinel-sa: - Ultimate warsuit. Heavy weapon platform that lands amidst the enemy.
Exosuit warriors: - Elite groundsmen. Multi-role heavy infantry that can deal with any foe.

    Troops
Grounders: - The regulars. Numerous troopers that hinge their actions of the War-sa's orders.
Partisans: - Scouting parties. Infiltrating snipers and tank hunters who rely on not being seen.
Koshiir-ra: - The shield of the regulars. A defensive light walker designed to back infantry lines.

    Fast Attack
Fiirkan Jetbikes: - Rapid harassing skirmishers. Flying in and out of conflict and hunting vehicles.
Beastwar Veterans: - Same as Elites.
Trii-kor transport pod: - Group of independant transports that move anyone to where they need to be.
Acolyte fighter wing: - Extremely potent and fast aircraft. Deadly in most roles.
Pur-naal mining drill: - Very fast assault monsterous creature designed to ram and plough enemy gunners.

    Heavy Support
Archangel/Skaal-tel: - Massive assault vehicle. Many guns.
Sajuuk-cor: - Ordnance vehicle. Fires massive Ion cannon once... might never need to again.
Haleel Sentinels: - Large battlesuits. Not as advanced as Haleel-sa, but still quite powerful.

    ETC.
    More to come.

Ok, Revised that unbalanced thing that was the FoC.
    The new systems are:
    HQ
Fleet command - Singular mighty man of doom. Costs so much you'll need him to do good.
War-sa - The ubiquitous commander. This is anyone who has a taste for commanding in battle, comes with or without Exosuit. He may or may not be a jetbiker and/or Beastwar veteran.
Retinues - If the War-sa wishes, he can have 2-6 of these guys around. They are either Grounder-Sa or Beastwar Veterans.
    Elites
Beastwar Veterans - Fast moving, assaulty or shooty or hybrid, close in and love to kill the beast (tyranids & Chaos Daemons).
Kaalel-Sa battlesuit - Exosuit on steroids, big guns, monstrous creature, deepstrike, only 1 allowed though.
Exosuit team - Grounder-Sas who band together for elite units, versetile shooty and the Jump infantry unit.
Tanis Gravekeepers - Somtaaw guard who infiltrate and sport a LOT of anti-tank gear. Low number though.
    Troops
Somtaaw Grounders - General soldiers, not very good on the whole, but they are numerous and score.
Koshiir-ra - Linebacker counter-assault walker. Can be upgraded to sport 3 guns or up to 2 and a DCCW.
Assault guard - Somtaaw guard who rush in through cover and intercept enemies before they reach firing lines. Low in supply though.
    Fast attack
Fiirkan jetbikes - Fast moving potentially threatening units. Kit out to be shooty or assaulty.
Beastwar veterans - Here in FA too to represent numerous nature, fast movement, and other somesuch.
Heeshk transport pod - A group of nondedicated transports, though this will have to be rethought in 5th edition.
Diirvaas zealots - VERY small group of high-power, high-speed assault maniacs.
    Heavy support
Kudaark Battle tank - 1 of 2 main tanks of similar price. Comes with 2 identical guns that can be changed around or replaced with the massive Dual-core Ion Cannon.
Skaal-ten Battle tank - the largest of the Somtaaw tanks, relies on a lot of missile weapons.
Raachok Battle tank - 2 of 2 main tanks of similar price. More of a long-range indirect (but weak) fire tank.
Grounder heavy weapon team - Like Guardsmen and their heavy weapon platoons.

    Basic organisation
A Somtaaw warrior is essentially a man genetically disposed toward hard work given armour and a gun. While they as a Kiith swell to the task of being the "Beastkillers" of the Hiigaran race, the individuals aren't very sure of themselves in a major engagement. These 'grounders' are quick to retreat due to doctrines of self-preservation within the Kiith due to low numbers in this area. Occasionally a Grounder will show promise in battle and be less eager to retreat, often taking a major stand in combat and come out on top, rallying teammates in times of duress, and anything else of a similarly grand nature. These individuals are soon promoted to the rank of Grounder-Sa, an honorary title depicting their ability to lead other ground forces.

Grounder-Sas aren't just there to lead teams of less experienced warriors however, occasionally they are banded together if there are enough to be deployed in Exosuits, These large armoured suits offer enhanced stability when firing heavy weapons and a low-altitude jetpack to carry them to places quickly when needed. These Grounder-Sas are often more experienced and aggressive than other Grounder-Sa, and will eventually follow in the footsteps of a War-Sa as one of his retinue and eventually advance to a War-Sa himself.

War-Sa is literally the master of war. He has a vast repertoire of tactical and strategic ploys in his knowledge and uses them to the best of his ability. He is always, without exception, tapped into the core hub of the detachment's comm. array. Such mastery is simply gained from advancing naturally along the Grounder ranks.

While the majority of the Somtaaw infantry is the Grounders, there are a much more determined class of warrior within Somtaaw. These warriors are the survivors of a war that saw their home galaxy almost consumed by a massive-scale viral organism they name 'the beast'. After spending decades continually fighting this horror, they are a much more steely member of the military. Though they are numerous, they are never sent on their own, instead used as the precious elite warriors and shock troops they are.
Beastwar veterans who have been temporarily infected with a portion of the Beast and survived the reclamation process or staved off subversion by removing offending body parts are regarded as the most elite of these veterans and awarded the title 'Beastkiller'. Though the Beastkillers cannot advance further in the Somtaaw social Hierachy, they are afforded more awe-striken respect than even their 'pristine' bretheren.

Occasionally a War-Sa who has survived the beast wars will retain his trophies of victory, showing his prestigious status even amongst the War-Sa.

Seperate to these hierachies are the Somtaaw Guard. They wear lighter armour that affords less protection but acts as an electromagnetic stealth field and is semi-active camouflage. These hi-tech soldiers fill many roles, usually as vehicle crew and engineers, they are seen in combat maneuvering to intercept foes before any harm can be done to other members of the battalion, and are expert sappers. The highest honour one can give a Somtaaw guard is to be a pilot of the regaled Kaalel battlesuits, eventually advancing further still to pilot the single Kaalel-Sa suit given to each detachment of the Kiith.

And further still, separate to all of these is a 4th order. This order follows a highly athletic melee kata based strongly on ancient swords dancing techniques of Kiith Somtaaw and Hiigarans as a whole.
These enigmatic warriors persue a glory of their own. They call themselves the messengers of Quaar-Jet, the ancient Hiigaran god of pain and suffering.

Then there is, final amongst the men who serve in Kiith Somtaaw's military, the Fleet Command.
Fleet Command is a title given only to those powerful few who survive the extensive surgery required to master control over a carrier or even Command ship. He is better to his fellow Somtaaw in every way, capable of performing millions of thoughts in a second; which is a requred trait for the title.
In battle, the Fleet Command is only used on terrestrial fighting if there is no other choice. He is given the weapons of his choice, the finest of the Kiith, and is put into a jump gantry and launched from his ship into the fray, effectively leaving it crippled. So a ship without its fleet command is set to idling mode and the crew does the meagre best they can in commanding a complex vessel.
In combat though, the Fleet command is an unstoppable force, and truly a sight to behold.

There, this is some more fluff.
