What about this for Apocalypse: a version of the Nightbringer that has regained some of his power?
You could probably just keep the same stats, just make him a Gargantuan Creature and give him some Mass points. And obviously create some kinda bigger model.
Any ideas on an appropriate number of Mass Points? And at what point cost?

Well Mass Points aren't used in Apoc. Just a really high toughness with a LOT OF WOUNDS. For him to be comparable to other Gargantuan Creatures, he'd have to have 8 or 9 wounds.
I could see it happening. I've heard that the Forgeworld Demons are going to be getting the same treatment.

Spear of Kurnous - High Elf Expeditionary Army
Just to note something odd about Apoc: It gives new stats without Mass Points for the Hierophant and Barbed Hierodule, but refers the Trygon to IA4 if my memory serves... Where it does have Mass. =)
Unless I missed the page with the Trygon when flipping through the Apoc book at the local GW store. :rofl
