These rules look great, they really do. The only thing I'm not sure about is your fluff basis for the Detective... any Psyker who is caught by the Black Ships and doesn't have the ability of a Sanctioned Psyker or Astropath is fed into the Golden Throne.. And the rules actually seem to make them more powerful than the IG's Sanctioned Psykers... But I think just a tweak in the fluff would work. Maybe have them as failed Inquisitors? It would fit with the 'traditional' role of a Detective too, if they have Inquisitor training.

But everything else, and the rules themselves, totally Ace. Be Repped for the effort.

Thanks alot.

Does anyone have any suggestions for new units, etc? The number of choice they have, especially in terms of vehicles, could be better.

Hmm, does anyone want to make a special character? Judge Senit Dredd, Arbitrator-General of the Necromunda Hive-Collectives.

Judge Dredd (points: ???)
Ws Bs S T W I A Ld Sv
5 5 4 4 3 5 4 10 3+/4+

Wargear: Carries Dredd's Axe and wears a Combat Envirosuit. He is equipped with an Arbite shotgun with Executioner rounds, frag grenades, and a Rosarius.

Dredd's Axe: master-crafted power weapon

Combat Envirosuit: Gives a 3+ armour save, adds +1 to T (already added to profile)

Executioner rounds: Makes the shotgun R 12", S 4, AP 5, Assault 2, Ignores Cover, Twin-linked

Oooh I like. Find some way to include cyber hounds though. Mechanical puppies that double as vicious killing machines... and good bloodhounds too.

in the book nightbringer they talk about about adeptus artibes. one thing to be noted is that they do have three leman russ tanks in there city compound. so maybe limit it 0-2 leman russ.

once i get this list cleared by my buddies im going to build this.

Cyber hounds could be essentially "ablative wounds" on a senior Arbite, e.g. they give 1 additional attack as base stength with no weapon bonuses + a 5+ inv save, for each save passed, a Cyber Mastiff is destroyed? That way you don;t need to worry about the specific mechanics of the Cyber mastiffs, which are quite small for 40K models...

I actually have rules for a K-9 unit, which can be upgraded into cyber-hounds.

K-9 Combat Squads

25 points per team

WS BS S T W I A LD SV
Handler 3 3 3 3 1 3 1 8 4+
K-9 Dog 4 0 4 3 1 5 2 6 -
K-9 Dog 4 0 5 3 1 3 2 6 -

Squad size: Between one and and six K-9 teams, composed of one handler and one K-9 dog.

Equipment: Arbite shotguns, stun grenades, claws and teeth, may upgrade all dogs to cyber-dogs for +5 points per team.

Special Rules: Release the Dogs!

Release the Dogs!: When chasing an enemy unit after a Close Combat phase, the Initiative of the dogs is used, however, the squad may not comsolidate afterwards.

I really like the idea of the armylist but would there really have a army of adeptus arbites fighting isn't that what the pdf is for?

The idea of the water cannons is good but try mount a few on a rhino or chimera hull and Also why only allow 6 to mount on the chimera? i think it should be 10 or 12.
