When the Horus heresy struck, many Titan legions turned against the emperor and sided with Horus. Many of these same Titans from thousands of years ago still war against the Imperium, although many have warped and changed from exposure to warp energies.
The plaguehound is one such example. The plaguehound is not a subtle weapon, for its slow gait, and loud creaking steps can be heard from miles away. However, the plaguehound is no less feared than any other Titan, as it boasts several, foul and terrible weapons.
The Vitrified gattler is a simple weapon, filled with the bones of Nurgle's dead enemies, which are chipped and launched out of the barrels in a foul and deadly cloud of bone, scything down lightly armed enemies and infecting each little scratch caused by the weapon. Although inaccurate, the area fired at is saturated with so many shots, it decimates and maims squads, nearly always leaving some alive to escape and spread the plague.
The virus cannon is simply a huge canister full of a fluid filled with toxins and viruses. The cannon sprays a fine mist into the air, infecting units with diseases that spread like wildfire throughout the enemy ranks. Those that dont die from the diseases allow it it spread far and wide.
Even when destroyed, the plaguehound becomes a mass of wriggling maggots, putrid bacteria and unusual fungus that can kill anyone foolish enough to come close to it.
The Plaguehound is a variation of the warhound titan (see Apoc-pg125) with an extra attack in close combat
UNIT: 1 Plaguehound
TYPE: Super-heavy walker (note: the plaguehound isnt fleet)
STRUCTURE: see Apoc-pg125
WEAPONS AND EQUIPMENT:
2 arm mouted weapons from the following list:
Pus cannon (see Apoc-pg172)
Vitrified Gattler* (Range:60", S5, AP5, Heavy 2, Pinning, blast 5" Primary Weapon)
Titan close combat weapon
Virus cannon** (Range:Hellstorm, S-, AP4, heavy 1, Pinning, Primary Weapon)
*the vitrified Gattler is a poisoned(4+) weapon
** The Virus cannon uses the same rules as an inferno cannon for template placement. Each model hit by the virus cannon is wounded on a 4+. Each model within 2" of a model killed by a virus cannon is also wounded on a 4+. Each model killed in this way counts as being hit by the virus cannon. Vehicles take 1 strength 8 hit. if the vehicle has a firing point, infantry inside are hit on a D6 roll of 5+.
Rusty plates: all hits against the Plaguehounds main armour count as made by an AP1 weapon, except if the weapon is AP-, which means it simply ignores the -1 for being ap-.
For papa Nurgle!: The plaguehound counts as an icon of nugle for Daemon summoning purposes and for Daemons deepstrike.
Foul smog: Any unit attempting to hit the Plaguehound in CC is at -1 WS. Any Aircraft whose movement takes them above the plaguehound is at -1 to BS, and all template weapons scatter an extra D6". For each model within 2" with a plaguehound, they take a single, strength 2 hit, with saves allowed. This counts towards wounds made in close combat, although the extra wounds caused by this do not add towards caused wounds in a "no retreat!" situation.
Foul poisons: The plaguehound is filled with some of the worst viruses and poisons. Simply slaughtering all people is not the aim, but spreading the disease is, and so, the nuclear core of the vehicle has been removed, replaced with a nurgle daemon with which to power the vehicle.
If suffering an wrecked result, all models within 2D6" take a hit as if hit by the virus cannon. This includes units with an icon of chaos. Nurgle plague marines are wounded on a 5+ instead. Nurgle daemons are immune.
Explosion results are worked out as normal (see warhound rule: reactor meltdown), but the range rolled is halved.
Any unit within 3" of the wreck/crater left from the destruction of a plaguehound at the end of a turn takes D6 S3 hits.

Nice! I like the Rusty Plates rules...as it makes the Titan a little weaker, due to the corrosion. How about any models in close combat with the PlagueHound could be infceted with Nurgle's Rot and turn into PlagueBearers?
And of coursem the PlagueHound has to be an Icon of Nurgle..
I think making little plaguebearers from the dead enemy at its feet is a bit of an overkill situation.
I renamed one of the weapons, and will neaten up the fluff a little. glad to have a little feedback on it.
I was going for more a fluffy titan. It sucks compared to a normal warhound titan from a distance (in close combat, its better than your average titan).
I just thought about maybe altering the virus cannon a touch so that it can mangle gargantuan creatures better, but its much better at slaughtering infantry than a normal titan. Possibly the Vitrified gattler could do with rending.
