Alright, after a few minutes of trying to figure out a sweet-looking, effective transport for Stormtroopers-
A Leman Russ with one less armour point on each side, no turret or sponsons, and able to carry 10 Stormtroopers. The Troopers would use their special weapons to fire out the sponsons and hull-mount. This is just the basic idea I need your help to further it, note-- this is not intended to ever go to a tourny!

WOW!! I was not expecting that! Thank you BossGorestopma, and good Stomping to you!
No problem Rules development is something of a hobby for me.
Let me know how it works out for you
I would give it a Dozer blade as standard, to help protect the front, improved comms, and make transport capcity 12 models in line with the Land raider. Problem with having the model as you have described it is that the engine is at the back, so access points would have to be at the sides, or possibly teh front. driver and commander could sit in teh turret, and I would reduce the number of weapons on this vehicle, as otherwise there isn't space for the number of troops you want to carry.
Named after the primarch Lion El'Johnson, the Leman Russ variant is produced on forgeworlds in limited numbers as a heavy transport for command squads and stormtrooper squads. Its thick, enclosed hull provides ample protection for valuable troops. The main access port is to the front, this is a short-coming though as unlike its Astartes counterpart the Crusader, it has no frag launchers to keep the enemie's head's down. The roof is higher than on the tank version allowing a complement equal to that of the Chimera-12.(cannot carry Ogryn!) The turret is a chimera's taking the same weapons as the chimera. Though this turret can be removed, making it count as open-topped, but allowing 6 occupants to fire. There is a twin weapon mount just above the door, taking special weapons.
Sounds good - can't wait to see this variant in teh flesh as it were :-)
Named after Lion El'Johnson?
Leman Russ and Lion El'Johnson... reunited at last, in this vehicle that LO has created.
FABRICATI DIEM, PVNC
Just thinking ( Dangerous, I know) - the "Namer" version of the markava battletank is basically an APC, so the Lion variant could make the same modifications as the Namer did to the Merkava...
What exactly do you mean? Dropping the weight and space of the main gun for support weapons and extra armour? Because I had planned on that, but increasing the armour would make it a weaponless LR...
