    I have started a customisable army list for WHFB. It allows you to field any unreleased human army. The Dogs of War list only works for Tilea

    It has a system similar to IG doctrines, you can take a particular type of special unit as a core unit and a fighting style [warrior code [bushido style], forest fighters, expert shots, black powder or dragons for lords].

    Each unit has very little base equipment [usualy just a hand weapon] but can be given alot of different weapons/armour.

    Lords - Warrior Lord, Wizard Lord
    Heroes - Champion, Wizard
    Core - Peasant Conscripts, Soldiers/Warriors
    Special - Elite Soldiers/Warriors, Heavy Cavalry, Light Cavalry, Skirmishers, Hounds [any 1 of the previous can be used as a core unit in a army], ballistas, catapults, cannons*
    Rare - Great Cannon*, Dogs of War

    *needs black powder

    I have it written on a word document, but its a bit too long, complex and unfinnished to paste directly onto this post. How can I put it up?

    The list is finnished but for the points costs. Can anyone give me the likely cost for the following, and the cost for a few likely weapons:
    [All the following with hand weapon and average human statistics but for the following changes]
    Peasant Conscripts - WS and BS 2, Ld 6
    Soldiers - no change
    Elite Soldiers - WS, BS and I 4, Ld 8
    Skirmishers - Skirmish
    Heavy Cavalry - WS 4, Ld 8, on horse and light armour
    Light Cavalry - On horse, fast cavalry
    Catapult - 3 crew, normal rules
    Balista - 2 crew, normal rules
    Light Cannon - 3 crew, smaller of the 2 cannons
    Heavy Cannon - 3 crew, larger of the 2 cannons

    The price increase for increasing the BS of soldiers, skirmishers or light Cavalry to 4.

    The price for armour and weapons for the different troops types.

    I would say it would cost 70 points, T4 Chariot, human stats, ect.

    I think it would help if you posted about the whole army list.

    Sorry for double [or is it triple/quadruple] posting, but it wont let me edit my last post.

    Any suggestions/comments, especially on points value or new fighting styles.

    Here is my list so far, it doesnt come out very well on a post, but it looks right on Word:

    Warhammer Human Armies
    This list is designed as a way to make the human armies of the old world that are not detailed in their own army books and the e.g. Araby, Nippon and Cathay. This is not a Dogs of War list and units from this list cannot be used in other armies.

    Army Special Rules
    Specialty Troops – Choose one of the following special choices for your army to use as core:
    · Warriors
    · Skirmishers
    · Heavy Cavalry
    · Light Cavalry
    · Dragons [allows Warrior Lords to ride dragons]
    Fighting Style – Choose one of the following:
    · Black Powder – Allows handguns, cannons and great cannons.
    · Forest Fighters – Allows javelins, can poison weapons [+1pt], trees not counted as difficult terrain.
    · Warrior Code – +2 Ld and WS 5 for warriors and cavalry, Champions and Warrior lords get +1 Ld and +2 WS. Wiped out if forced to flee [this only effects the previous unit types].
    · Expert Shots – Upgrade soldiers, light cavalry or skirmishers to BS4 for +2pts
    · Extra specialty choice.

    Or you should just play warhammer historical instead. Would work better and save you a lot of time.

    Well there is a Dragon in the list, as far as i know there were no Dragons in history...

    Oh wait the Kaiser on that Zombie Dragon with all those cheesy magic items nearly lost us the First World War :lol:

    No, not warhammer historical because this is for WHFB, read the rulebook, Cathay and Nippon etc are in the Warhammer world and are powerful nations with armies, why not be able to play as them. thats why i created the list.
