    Deathwatch Ideas for Codex

    Got bored so wrote up some quick ideas I had for deathwatch army codex. missing inquisitor stuff but that would just be a copy paste most likely from the grey knight codex.

    ***Warning Long Post***

    Deathwatch Army Rules:


    - And They Shall Know No Fear: As Core Rulebook.

    - Combat Squads: As codex space marines.

    - Special Ammo: All deathwatch marines may pick to use one of the following ammo types every time they fire one of the following weapons; Auto Cannon, Astartes Grenade Launcher, Astartes Shotgun, Boltgun, Bolt Pistol, Heavy Bolter, Stalker Boltgun, Stormbolter.

    * Dragonfire: Range = unchanged, Str = unchanged, AP = unchanged, Type = as weapon + ignores cover.

    * Kraken: Range = +6", Str = unchanged, AP = improves by 1, Type = as weapon.

    * Hellfire: Range = unchanged, Str = X, AP = unchanged, Type = as weapon + poison (2+)

    Example:
    - Boltgun (Dragonfire): Range = 24", Str = 4, AP = 5, Type = Rapid Fire, Ignores Cover.
    - Boltgun (Kraken): Range = 30", Str = 4, AP = 4, Type = Rapid Fire.
    - Boltgun (Hellfire): Range = 24", Str = X, AP = 5, Type = Rapid Fire, Poison (2+)

    HQ: Choices:


    Captain: 110 pts
    WS: 6, BS: 5, S: 4, T: 4, W: 3, I: 5, A: 3, Ld: 10, Sv: 3+/4+
    Equipment: Boltgun or Bolt Pistol, Chainsword, Frag + Krak Grenades, Iron Halo, Power Armor
    Special Rules: And They Shall Know No Fear, Independent Character, Special Ammo
    Options:
    May replace boltgun, bolt pistol and/or chainsword with:
    - a stormbolter = 5 pts
    - a combi-(flamer, melta, plasma), or scythian venom talon = +10 pts
    - a lightning claw, inferno pistol, needle pistol, plasma pistol, or power weapon = +15 pts
    - a powerfist, or stormshield = +20 pts
    - a heavy bolter, or thunder hammer = +25 pts
    - a relic blade = +30 pts
    - an auto cannon = +40 pts
    May take any of the following:
    - melta bombs = +5 pts
    - blind grenades, and/or suppression stabilizer = +10 pts
    - rad grenades = +15 pts
    May replace power armor with artificer armor = +15 pts
    May replace boltgun, bolt pistol, chainsword, and power armor with terminator armor, stormbolter, and power weapon = +40 pts
    May replace terminator armor's stormbolter with:
    - a combi-(flamer, melta, plasma) = +5 pts
    - a lightning claw, or stormshield = +10 pts
    - an assault cannon = +35 pts
    May replace terminator armor's power weapon with:
    - a lightning claw = +5 pts
    - a powerfist = +10 pts
    - a relic blade, or thunder hammer = +15 pts
    May take an ulumeathi plasma siphon = +20 pts

    Librarian: 110 points
    WS: 5, BS: 4, S: 4, T: 4, W: 2, I: 4, A: 2, Ld: 10, Sv: 3+
    Equipment: Bolt Pistol, Force Weapon, Frag + Krak Grenades, Power Armor, Psychic Hood
    Special Rules: And They Shall Know No Fear, Independent Character, Psyker (Mastery Level 2), Special Ammo
    (As they pull members from many chapters they may generates powers from the biomancy, divination, pyromacy, telepathy, or telekinesis disciplines.)
    Options:
    May upgrade to Mastery Level 3 = +50 pts
    May replace bolt pistol with:
    - a stormbolter = 5 pts
    - a combi-(flamer, melta, plasma), or scythian venom talon = +10 pts
    - a inferno pistol, needle pistol, or plasma pistol = +15 pts
    - a stormshield = +25 pts
    May replace bolt pistol, and power armor with terminator armor, and stormbolter = +30 pts
    May replace terminator armor's stormbolter with:
    - a combi-(flamer, melta, plasma) = +5 pts
    - a stormshield = +10 pts
    May take a Ghost Helm = +20 pts
    May take a Psyocculum = +25 pts

    Elite Choices:


    Apothecary: 100 pts
    WS: 4, BS: 4, S: 4, T: 4, W: 2, I: 4, A: 2, Ld: 8, Sv: 3+
    (1-3 as one elite choice)
    Equipment: Chainsword, Frag + Krak Grenades, Narthecium, Power Armor
    Special Rules: And They Shall Know No Fear, Destroy the Alien, Independent Character
    Options:
    May replace Chainsword with:
    - a needle pistol, power weapon, or scythian venom talon = +10 pts
    - a lightning claw, or powerfist = +15 pts
    May take:
    - blind grenades = +15 pts
    - rad grenades = +20 pts

    Destroy the Alien: The apothecary and any unit he joins have preferred enemy (Xeno).

    Terminator Squad: 215 pts
    WS: 4, BS: 4, S: 4, T: 4, W: 1, I: 4, A: 2, Ld: 9, Sv: 2+/5+
    1 Sergeant + 4 Terminators (same profile)
    Equipment: Frag + Krak Grenades, Power Weapon, Stormbolter, Terminator Armor
    Special Rules: And They Shall Know No Fear, Combat Squads, Special Ammo
    Options:
    May include up to five additional terminators = +40 pts per
    For every five models in the unit, one terminator can:
    - replace their stormbolter with a Heavy hellfire flamer = +10 pts
    - replace their stormbolter with an assault cannon = +15 pts
    - take a cyclone launcher = +20 pts
    Any model may replace their power weapon with a
    - lightning claw = free
    - thunder hammer = +5 pts
    Any model may replace their stormbolter with a
    - a stormshield = free.
    The squad may take a Drop Pod = +35 pts

    Veteran Squad: 125 pts
    WS: 4, BS: 4, S: 4, T: 4, W: 1, I: 4, A: 2, Ld: 9, Sv: 3+
    1 Sergeant + 4 Veterans (same profile)
    Equipment: Bolt Pistol, Chainsword, Frag + Krak Grenades, Power Armor, Stormbolter
    Special Rules: And They Shall Know No Fear, Combat Squads, Special Ammo
    Options:
    May include up to five additional veterans = +25 pts per
    For every five models in the unit, two veterans can replace their stormbolter with:
    - a hellfire flamer, or melta gun = +10 pts
    - a plasma gun = +15 pts
    The squad may be given suppression stabilizers = +15 pts
    The Sergeant may replace their chainsword, bolt pistol and/or stormbolter with:
    - a needle pistol, power weapon, or scythian venom talon = +10 pts
    - a powerfist, or stormshield = +15 pts
    - a relic blade, or thunder hammer = +20 pts
    The squad may take a Drop Pod = +35 pts

    May include up to five battle brothers = +20 pts per
    For every five models in the unit, one stalker can replace their astartes shotgun with:
    - an astartes grenade launcher, heavy bolter = +10 pts
    Any model may replace their astartes shotgun with a stalker boltgun = +2 pts
    The squad may be given suppression stabilizers = +20 pts
    The squad may be given camo cloaks = +20 pts
    The Sergeant may replace their bolt pistol with:
    - a needle pistol, power weapon, or scythian venom talon = +10 pts

    Transports:

    Drop Pod as per Codex: Space Marine.

    Fast Attack Choices:

    The Sergeant may replace their chainsword, and/or bolt pistol with:

    Stormraven: As per Codex: Blood Angels except as follows.
    Replace Bloodstrike Missiles with Plasma Missiles.

    Dreadnought: As per Codex: Space Marine except:
    Options for multi-melta add
    - an Atomizer Cannon = +40 pts

    - Special Ammo = +10 pts

    Landraiders: As per Codex: Blood Angels

    Equipment:

    Artificer Armor, Assault Cannon, Astartes Grenade Launcher, Astartes Shotgun, Auto Cannon, Boltgun, Bolt Pistol, Camo Cloaks, Cyclone Missile Launcher, Flamestorm Cannon, Heavy Bolter, Hurricane Bolters, Lascannon, Melta Gun, Missile Launcher, Multi-Melta, Narthecium, Plasma Gun, Plasma Pistol, Power Armor, Power Weapon, Psychic Hood, Scout Armor, Stormbolter, Terminator Armor as per Codex: Space Marine / Core Rulebook.

    Ghost Helm as per Codex: Eldar.

    Blind Grenades, Inferno Pistol, Needle Pistol, Psyocculum, Rad Grenades, Scythian Venom Talon, Ulumeathi Plasma Siphon, as per Codex: Grey Knights.

    Atomizer Cannon: Range: 24", S: 7, AP: 1, Heavy 1, Melta, Poison (2+), Small Blast
    Hellfire Flamer: Range: Template, S: 4, AP: 5, Assault 1, Poison (4+)
    Heavy Hellfire Flamer: Range: Template, S: 5, AP: 4, Assault 1, Poison (4+)

    Suppression Stabilizers: models equipped with this advance targeting and stabilizing war gear hit on a 5+ when performing a snap-fire or shooting at flyers, instead of the normal 6+.
