    Ok, I was just inspired by the next army topic, so I thought I'de write some rules down. Here goes..


    <NAME GOES HERE> (Working on it.....)

    Armoury:

    Ranged weapons

    Shard-pistol: (5)
    S: 3
    AP: 5
    Range: 8"
    Type: Pistol

    Shard-Blaster (10)
    S: 3
    A: 4
    Range: 18"
    Type: Assault

    Shard-Rifle (50 points)
    S: 6
    AP: 2
    Range: 36"
    Type: Heavy 1

    Shard-cannon (30)
    S: 4
    AP: 3
    Range: 24"
    Type: Assault 4

    Slasher (40)
    S: 1
    AP: -
    Range: 4"
    Type: Assault 24

    Slasher 2 (40)
    S: 2
    AP: 6
    Range: 8"
    Type: Assault 12

    Slasher 3 (40)
    S: 3
    AP: 5
    Range: 16"
    Assault: 6


    Notes:

    Slashers: Over heat on rolls of 1&#39;s and 2&#39;s, or more like explode.


    Close combat weapons:

    Talons: (25)
    +1 attack

    Claws: (20)
    +1 strength

    Plant whip (25)
    1 enemy touching a model with a plant whip is at -1 attack. (MAY have 0 attacks)

    Barbed tail (50)
    +1 Attack, +1 Strength, does not count towards maximum weapons


    Wargear:

    Talisman of life: (15)
    6+ Invulnerable save

    Vyper Amulet (20)
    5+ Invulnerable save

    Venom (15)
    On a roll of a 6 to hit, auto wounds

    Scary face (35)
    Enemys need to take a leadership test to attack a model with a scary face.

    I like the idea of it, but there&#39;s one thing I don&#39;t get..

    Slasher (40)
    S: 1
    AP: -
    Range: 4"
    Type: Assault 24

    With doesn&#39;t have a AP and only range : 4"? I guess its only a mistake, I just want to be sure You are giveing it range : 48" right? I think it would be a good range for it, &#39;corse it seems pretty much like a sniper weapon?

    No it was not a mistake, the - means it can&#39;t harm even the weekest of armor, and the 4" imagine 24 attacks with a range of 48"? I mgiht increase it to maybe 24" because of the overheating on 1 or 2. And make it strength, 2 armor pierce 6, because with 24 attacks, you&#39;re going to roll atleast 1 1 or 2....

    strength 1 can only hurt the most pathetic of troops, and even then it won&#39;t be easy, but i suppose that if you have, say, 20 men with them, then it&#39;s 480 shots, so maybe 1 or 2 wounds on space marines ...

    Str 1 or 2 vs. Toughness 4 = 6+, I think, to wound.

    1/6 chance. 80 out of 480 (with just the 20 guys) will wound. Then a 3+ armour save. Roughly 26 Space Marines will take wounds with failed armour saves, if all this info is correct, and statistically speaking of course. This chance will significantly increase if it&#39;s a lower roll to-wound. (Y)

    And about half of those will miss in the first place... It would not be able to hurt high T units but it would make mincemeat out of anything with a lower T in mass. Many of the weapons are unbalanced or... unbalanced. Some of the stuff is also overpriced like Talons. Us &#39;nids get that for a maximum of 8 pts...

    Sorry, but it is rather unbalanced and the talons especially wouldn&#39;t work in any game. Some weapons, are also too expensive for what they offer.
