In DoW the FC can use orbital bombardment: I have worked out something that might resemble it
Thanks in advance
Type: Ordnance 2D6
Cost: 35 points
It scatters 2d6 in a random direction
It can only be used once per game
I like it cept for the once a game thing - maybe it would be better to use the entry in the heavy support section of the daemonhunters?

Perhaps instead of that, you could make some wargear for the GM that acts like a homing beacon.
So the bombardment happens where you want it too but still needs to be bought from the Heavy support section as well.
Lets see here:
The company uses heavy orbital bombardment to harrass the enemy and make them fight on their terms. To increase the accuracy of their strikes they use a special flare. This can be locked onto by orbiting ships and targeted allowing for deadly blasts to be aimed at units.
Instead of a bombardment coming in as normall the Daemon hunter player may choose when the orbit blast comes in, as long as it is past turn 2.
The bombardment then starts anywhere within 24" of the GM, it may not start on top of friendly models. The blast moves as normal and lasts for 3 turns.
Hows about that?
