Unit Size: 5-20 Warhounds
Beserk Charge: Warhounds of Fenris are bred for menacing assaults. To represent this, Warhounds of Fenris gain a +2A when they charge, instead of the usual +1A for charging.
Fleet of Foot: In the shooting phase Warhounds of Fenris may move an extra D6, as their agility makes up for their non-shooting capability.
Carving Jaws: Carving Jaws are treated as a single close combat weapon.
Lightning Fast Reactions: Warhounds of Fenris have lightning fast reactions. To represent this, a Warhound of Fenris's save is invulnerable.
A Warhounds of Fenris unit may be taken in a Space Wolves army as a troop choice, but may not fill the compulsory troop choices.
This is just an experiment more than anything; I wanna know what you guys think of this: if the points and stats are fitting etc.
Any Comments welcome
the 13th company have wolves of fenris as fast attack, they have the same statline as a marines, except for the 6+ save and 2 attacks and they move as fast cavalry.
weapons can be claws and jaws, as they pounce on the prey more than bite.
But do you think these would still be worth using, and are these points costs and/or stats okay? - etc.
well the 13th company wolves are 10pts, I would simple use thier rules amongst friends and approved, as fast attack in a space wolves army, this would keep things simple.
Okay, thanks. So I'll just use them as Wolves of Fenris in a Space Wolves Army as Fast Attack, correct?
sure make sure your playing group as no problem with it, and the rules for them are it the Eye of terror codex for 13th company.
Okay, thanks - once again!
