one thing I have started to do is something different with monstrous creatures. When they die I roll a D6 on a roll of 4+ they fall over in a andom direction determined by a scatter die. on a 3 or below it is assumed that it hunches over on its base and dies with out further effect remove as a casualty. If it does fall over and it lands on at least a single model in a squad they take an a single initiative for every model underneath the creature that fell check if they fail they are automatically pinned. If they are fearless any model underneath the monstrous creature must take an initiative check and if they fail are removed as casualties. pretty much for normal units the pinning is to represent the buddies of the guy who was unfortunant enough to get fallen on by the creature are buisy trying to pull him out to shoot. With the fearless guys its pretty much saying that the guys are fearless and will not care if a few of there own die and will leave them there for the rest of the game remove any of these models as casualties. also when tis is done remove the monstrous creature.
Comments are welcome.

Thats a good idea though I'd prefer something along the lines of if it falls on a model, the model has to role a d6 and if the score exceeds its initiative value, the madel takes a wound. Otherwise it just jumps out of the way.
A billion chinese can't be wrong - eat rice.
Only problem are d00ds like the new fex who are so unched over that they wouldn't fall on people.
