we came up with this funny rule that if you role double ones for a difficult terrain test, you suffer a perils of the warp, becuase a warp creature sences your stupidity and tries to fry your brain.
Hmmm, that would work quite well in a witchhunter type game - cleanse the mutant/psyker/chaos temple before everyone is devoured by demonic forces.
It could be used to represent a weakening in the barriers of reality as the chaotic hordes strive to break through....
I like that idea Badruk. The objective could be to kill a specific enemy who is causing the weakening of the barriers. Every unit (inc the chaos units) have to roll a D6 at the beginning of their movement phase. If they get a 6, the unit (or a randomly determined member of the unit) suffers aperils of the warp attack. The only way to stop the perils of the warp (and for the non-chaos player to win) would be to kill the unit causing them. Could make for an interesting and unique game.
