I've been throwing around iseas with friends about a game using the 40k rules system about the struggle for city 17 in the last chapters of half life 2 and half life 2 :episode 1.
we've decided to slightly bend the story so that theres more variety of units. So anyone want to help? A basic knowledge of half-life 2 is required btw.
That sounds cool...and your welsh aswell so its even better lol. I'll give ya a hand if ya want. I know quite a bit about ye ol' Half Life and Half Life 2.

I once tried to greenstuff an old style stormtrooper model into a combine elite.. it went wrong, but the models themselves are perfect for that kind of thing.
I'll help if remotely possible.. I've played through both games and read all the wikipedia articles regarding them. I'm not sure you need to bend the storyline.. The Combine was in control of the entire world, there must be other events, situations and narratives you could exploit between the Seven Hour War and the dark energy reaction at the end of episode one..
Not to mention you have the Black Mesa/Xen stuff as well..
