Not sure where to put this, but here looks good enough to me.
Was toying with the idea of making my own Magus up to use in a game, and was wondering what you guys thought of my idea so far. I'm not too sure how to price it up, so if you can have a quick look at this, see if anything needs to be changed and give me what you think a decent points total (or a reasonable way for me to work it out myself) that would be top.

Weapons/Equipment: Laspistol, Force Weapon, Refractor Field. (see IG codex)
Pyschic Powers: Telepathic Order, Lightning Arc. (see IG Codex)
Inspiring Presence: Any Cultist unit within 12" may use his Leadership for all leadership tests. In addition, a unit containing the Magus may reroll any failed Leadership test.
Fanaticism: The Magus inspires his cultists to outrageous acts of Zealotry when the enemy is near. Any unit containing the Magus may reroll any failed to hit rolls once in the turn they charge while the priest lives.
Options: See HQ Command Squad options in IG Codex. (i.e + 4 guards with weapon options)
The special rules are basically Leadership, Trademark Item and Fanatical from the Imperial guard wargear, HQ and Priest entries.
As for pricing it up, I get 12 (base cost for psyker) + 40 for wargear, + 10 for trademark item.
30 points (guess) for improved stats, 10 points for Fanatical and 10 points for Leadership and 5 points for an extra psychic power.
Total is 117.
How does it sound? What should I change? Is 117 points for the Magus + 4 basic guardsmen unreasonable, bearing in mind that I am likely to add ~30 points due to my doctrine choices.
Any help, as always, greatly appreciated
I can't say I've seen it all but I live for the things that keep me hollow.
Thanks for trying to find the right spot. The effort is appreciated. Remember that unofficial house rules belong in the Rules Development section.

In there I have some stats for a Magus.
A magus shouldn't have a Toughness higher than 3, they look identical to a bald human, they don't have any mutant toughness to keep em going.
I have rules for Genestealer Magus from the 2nd ed. 40k. This might be a good starting place for statistics, abilities, equipment and points cost.
