Welcome to Librarium Online!
I was just thinking how the warhammer system had been adapted to historical rules and wondered if it would be possible to create a napoleonic rules set.
The problems i would encounter would be the lack of armour, formations working together sheer stubborness of many units, and also the famous formations of square, line and column.
I was wondering if anybody would like to help me develop a rules set that could be used with 28 or even 15mm models?
all comments appreciated.
I would just like to point out WH game mechanics and rule set was adapted from existing wargame rules.(Ancient to Napoleinic, but streamlined for the more casual types of game.)
(Several of WH developers worked at the W.R.G.(Wargames research group.)
So geting Napoleonics to work with WH rules should be just a case of 'reverse enginering.'
(Saveing throws were added to give the opposing player' something to do' during your turn.)
