So do you think GW will ever roll out Codex: Xeno Hunters? or just Codex: Inquisitor?
The way the past codex sub armies are being phased out (eldar craftworlds, chaos legions) I would suppose that GW might (a big might) just come up with a codex just for inquisitors. But probably not.
Do you think GW will roll out a codex Xeno Hunters
or Codex: Inquisitor?
What would you like to see with a xeno hunter army?
How should a puritan and radical xeno inquisitor differ.
How should Xeno Hunters be different from DH and WH
I would like them to able to take Kroot with signature evolutionary adaptations as well as the inducted Imperial Guard and allies from most imperial army. Heck, might as well throw ab human ogryns and ratlings in the mix (they are some what alien). Also, there should be rules about having no Kroot if you take Commissar or priests, or sisters of battle. This should be similar to the DH army were Grey Knights will not fight with radical DH inquisitors who use daemons. As for new units, I would like to see Hrud. Yes Hrud... If you have no idea what Hrud are then ask some of the veterans or read the fluff about it.

The Deathwatch forms the chapter militant of the ordo xenos, not the imperial guard. They are pretty much space marines with a few different weapon options. I have heard that GW is not interested in ever releasing an official codex for ordo xenos. If they did, it would probably be a lot like the ones they have already. Deathwatch as the main type of troops with the option to take stormtroopers and some weird alien things (they use alien technology, not the aliens themselves) if you are feeling more radical. Otherwise it would probably be just a space marine chapter....probably why they won't make a book.
As for not taking kroot mercs if sisters are included.....sisters don't belong in the xenos order anyways. The only way you could really take them for a Xenos army would be witch hunter allies.
I really don't see GW making a seperate codex for Xenos. It'd be the same fare as the other =][= codexes, with a few alien flares, and the Deathwatch (basic marines with slightly better gear options) in place of GK or Sisters. If anything it'll be codex Inquisitor
There was a thread a hwile back talking about the comilation fo all three Ordo's into one book. Ifd they did such a book I'm sure deathwatch rules and radical Xeno's inquisitor rules woiuld be in there.
I too have heard several times that GW has no interest in publishing a Xeno Hunters book. I would really love to see an Inquisition Codex, that would be hot stuff.
It is really too bad that they aren't going to do an Alien hunters codex... I really hope that they do a Codex inquisition. Peronsally I think that the deathwatch is the coolest militant branch (or very close to Grey knights.)

dosnt including kroot in a imperial Xeno hunting army sort of defeat the point of being a xeno hunter? I dont think they would make an exception for any xenos.
Radical daemon hunter armies have daemons that fight for them.
Radical witch hunter armies have bound pyskers that fight for them.
Why would it defeat the purpose to have a radical alien hunter army to have kroot fight for them.
The key here is radical. If kroot are taken then no deathwatch should be allowed. This is similiar to DH and how you can take no Grey Knights if you take deamons.
I think it would be balanced and very fluffy.
There are already rules for Deathwatch squads that you can use for any imperial force. and bits you can buy to make them into deathwatch. it's in one of the older white dwarfs. it came out last edition but still works quite well. I like to run mine with a Librarian and a squad of tooled up marines equiped with a couple power weapons, the Heavy bolter on suspensers, and the special ammo for the squad.

Currently Deathwatch and Kroot can't mix because of the rules in the Kroot Merc. handbook. Kroot and Space Marines (Deathwatch, Grey Knights, Ultramarines, etc.) can't be placed in the same army.
I've always wanted to see an inquisition codex. It would be as large as the new Chaos codex and cover all three major Ordos plus non-ordos affiliated inquisitors and the Chamber Militants. A nice fat armory would include limits for wargear that is ordo limited and inquisitors would pay to be inducted into an ordo (similar to how Choas Lords would upgrade into sorcerers.) The ordo would allow extra options but would also lead to more limitations and be expensive.
