Not every release but enough to sort out your budget
Hmph. Maybe YOUR budget. I don't have the money to buy any of these anytime soon, and even if I did, I almost wanna object on principle. They got a good racket going with this one. Only Baneblade that will hit MY table anytime soon will be made out of plasticard... maybe.
Sorry. I know others have already griped about this, just seeing the prices laid out in front of me here like this reminds me how much of an utter rip-off this is. Like I haven't spent a fortune on this hobby as it is, and EBay won't have these up anytime soon.
8X lots of tanks
seriously though, that 10 russ box is seriously arsum, i think its £100 off 8X
I agree that the prices are pretty huge, especially for my budget, to spend at one time. But as you said, you have already spent tons of money on this hobby, as have I. These boxes really do save you money in the long run, but the problem is having that much money to drop all at once. It's like going to one of those discount warhouse stores. You save money in the long run shopping there, but you spend more in one trip buying bulk, then you would buying the product at the normal store.
What's kind of ironic, is that if I were to buy the space marine company box, it would take me longer to paint it all, then it would to save up for it. LOL ;?
Age is a state of mind, and since I have no mind, I don't age.

If you want the prices for all the releases check out UK WD 333 only the Gamers Edition is TBC and the contents are on the Apocalypse Website
BEN DIESEL FTW!!!
baneblades are £65 each, or you can get a deal of 3 for £150
according to manager at my store that is
Wow. That falcon deal is really insanely good.
£75 worth of models for £50
I'm personally very happy to see any new affordable options for this hobby becoming available.
Looks like an oppontunity for folks to pool resources. It's like buying in bulk, really.
I don't see folks actually building Apocalypse armies from scratch in even the medium future. If you already have the Collector's disease, like me, you will not need the 10 Leman Russ set. (I've already got an armored company...) I also can't imagine more than a handful of folks worldwide actually completing the IG Company Box set on their own.
This stuff is cool, but the real impact will be the pletora of individual sprues we'll see on eBay at ~30% off. If the retailers are still getting their discounts on the huge box sets, they'll be selling the pieces for a discount soon enough.
As for me, as much as I love the idea of Apocalypse, the FOC-less army builds won't work for my gaming group. We'll probably houserule something like 1 FOC + 1 Superheavy slot per 2500 points or something.
The Baneblades are like printing money for GW though. Too bad they didn't make it a better price. At $90 i'd buy one, at $75, I'd buy two!

RecklessFable's Journey to Mediocrity (Painting an IG army)
I've been addicted to World of Tanks lately and neglecting my IG... But it is so... much... fun!
There's lots of Apocalypse stuff I want, just for the overall money savings. Lots of folks in my gaming group are planning on pooling their resources to split some of the bigger sets, too. Who wouldn't! Bargain prices, people! Jump on while you can! (If you can. I know I gotta save -- in a hurry -- to get even a couple of the things I want. Dammit!)
ninjabackhand: point and click, again, really? even after i give you an military term "shock tactic" you still call it point and click.

I can't figure out the gripping over this? Most of those boxes are almost 40% off what it would cost to buy those individually ;? . I mean the space marine battle company is almost 60% off what all that would normally cost! Really, if you walked into a GW store and they offered you stuff at those discount prices you sure wouldn't be complaining, you'd be jumping for joy.
