Ok, one big post with lots of images. Just got back from GD (didn't fancy sticking around until the very end) and saw lots of very exciting things
I spoke to Jes Goodwin regarding plastic Wraithguard - apparently they are a high priority but he needs to wait until more money is allocated to the Eldar range. Warp Spiders, if they get re-done, will be metal and will probably have separate jump generators (like the Exarch) as he reckons that is a major obstacle to conversion and posing. He (like me actually) still likes the design of the Spiders so they will likely be virtually unchanged if re-done - just re-poses probably. He then pointed me in the direction of the prototype jetbike that he put together. Damn this ride looks sweet:
Now some Orky bits, including the new Warbike:
And some High-Elf 3-ups:
Plastic COKs is going to make the DE fans very happy, and boy does it look vicious. Much better than the current model (even if the current CO's look fine.) Definitely looks like it could rip you apart, and anyone who rides one has to be a bad mofo.
This could mean that DElves are indeed getting bumped ahead of the VC. Thats a good thing since the DElves have so many more issues with their lists when VC's are very competitive, even if the VC's are in desperate need of some model makeovers, even more so than the DE's.
Just got back from GD myself. Was speaking to Gav regarding the Dark Elves for a bit and I am rather excited about the new Vampire Counts as the model for the Strigoi vampire on display was awesome (Its absolutely huge they have had to put it on a 50mm base.).
Read a lot of the High Elves book and some of the magic items they have got are rather nice. My favourites were the Starlance (a lance that gives +3 Strength and Ignores armour saves on the charge) and the Pendant of Vengence (which will make any Dwarf player think twice before taking an Anvil of Doom when they have to re-roll all sucessful casting rolls and get -1 on the misscast table).
Basically life sucks, there is only war and you're probably gonna get eaten by Tyranids, have fun.
Link to some Chaos and VC things
Enjoy! Im not too happy about Strigoi lord, looks too much like a bat than a feral humanoid but oh well, and i think ill be sticking to the old Daemonettes and bloodletters, seeming as GW has seemed to go back to 2nd Edition type daemons. However i think the Juggernaught looks very cool if not a bit too machine(ish)

Boris for PM! Go Bojo
A guy on Warseer said the Strigoi is actually a VC special character, and not a Strigoi in bat form, which is too bad as it's a very nice model.
WHAT, new Dark Elf model?? That was certainly unexpected! Where is the rider though? Hopefully there IS one, and hopefully he's plastic.. (maybe we'll have something to use as a character model now..)
Hear anything about the release date?
I think I'll sell my current CoKs before the value drops.
@ JVK: Care to please give us some details on your conversation with Gav regarding Dark Elves? I'd really like to know their position/opinion on them, and also anything else!

ahhhhh very nice with the new cold one, very pleased to see adleast some effort to update darkelf models in some wa, and the juggernaught is also looking nice, looks like its an actually mount unlike the current one that seems to be watching the grass grow beneith it.
The ork models are quite nice, and about time they came in with the new bikes and what seems to be a war trukk, hopefully we shall see more plastics in the ork range expecially with nobs and the mega armoured.
The new Cold One is amazing, and I really like the new Jetbikes as well... it is ironic that they will hit the shelves when my Saim-Hann army (which has more than 30 Jetbikes) will be complete.
Everything else is great, I especially liked the Orks and the Strigoi, everything but the Daemonettes actually, the old models are much better (and sexier) IMO.
Thanks for sharing!
i saw those too, i couldn't believe the detail on each and every one of them (apart from the daemonettes of which at the time i thought was odd). i really like the CoK's, it's nice to see that the LM arn't the only race with cool looking Cold ones!
the VC bat thingy (i don't know what it is yet) is kind of disappointing and might need something to coolify it when it hits the shelves.
