Wow. The new daemonettes really ARE a means to make me not want to collect slaanesh.

And more than that - if these new minatures phase out the current metal range of demonettes, it will be a loss worse than any other that has befallen the hobby yet.

I was browsing over on warseer rumours just before (yes, I know, at least I'm not a full traitor as I don't actually have an account over there ), when I saw a thread on some new chaos demons - Juggernaut, bloodletters and daemonettes .

The Juggernaut was pretty good, not sure about the bloodletters, but I am sure about the daemonettes. They really, really, really stink. I was thinking about collecting a warhammer fantasy chaos army, lots of demons (slaanesh and tzeentch), but now I'm not so sure...

P.S I hope this hasn't already been talked about at length here. I'm tired and didn't bother searching the forum for similar posts - for which I apologise!

"Pickles, the drummer, doodily doo. (Ding-dong, doodily, doodily, doo.)"

Also, you should google "garfield minus garfield". Awesome.

The old ones seemed more... human? I think I liked them more myself, but we would need to see these new models painted to fully judge them IMHO...

Plastic female heads though would just SCREAM to be used with Chaos Space Marines bodies. Shhhh! I SAID THIS FIRST!!!

    No, they have corsets now.

Personally, I like them (yay for crab-claws!). Maybe the poses could be more dynamic, but these are clearly made to be used for WHFB. If we go by pure fluff, at least one boob should be exposed. It's an attribute of Slaanesh after all.

    The Bloodletters are cooler though.

That is one reason why I think they went for the corsets. I think these models look nice. Yea, their faces look a bit more human, but with the right paint I think they can look really good. I like the definition of the model. Yes, the old ones were nice, but I dont blame them for phasing out the nakey ones.

I think the corset is a nice touch

All issues of nipples aside, they do just look more tame now to me, maybe I'm just not seeing enough in that picture.

Hmm, Those models really do stink. They're WAY too static to be nimble Daemonettes, and I absolutely hate the two with the mohawks, they just look plain dumb. The corsets aren't bad, but I feel that they've become much too human in their face and torso. They're quite boring really...

Shooting those models with Bolters would make me feel guilty.
    Current models ARE better, IMO.

Any pics of the Bloodletters or Juggernaut?
