new hobby tools for sale look good with the grips and the kit with case etc
may save for one along with a some winsor brushes
they look good but are still really expensive for what they are. I picked up a set of 5 good hobby files for $8AUD and a hobby knife which slices plastic like butter for $3AUD

DOWN WITH THE FALSE EMPEROR!!!MAY HIS GALAXY BURN!!!
It would be very interesting to get a review of these tools! They look really good, but it's alot of money for people like me if they aren't any good.
If anyone tried them, please give us your thoughts.

Huh. Big deal.
GW tools have always been somewhere between "poor" and "barely acceptable". This update might just drag them up to "average".
I'd probably be able to buy better quality versions of those tools 2 or 3 times over for those prices at any good hobby shop, or an online retailer like Micro-Mark. Those files in particular are a joke - most hardware stores ought to carry a 5+ piece set of the same type for about 1/3 of the cost. Better razor saws are available for 1/4 of that price. The pinvise looks pretty limited and it's definitely overpriced. The sprue cutter? Okay, that's not bad, but you can still get better for the same price or equivalent for less.
There's a lesson here, folks... GW does technically sell everything you need (and to be fair, they do make good paints), but there's a whole global hobby market out there, and odds are that they do it all better. All you need to do is a little looking around to find better tools and especially better glues.
i think i might actually pick up that modeling tool, i've been looking around for some time but couldn't find one of those anywhere.
the other stuff i can get, cheaper and probably better
when i started WH i bought their brushes a few times, after i discoverd the brushes of my local store i felt like crying, way cheaper and so much better :'(
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
I despair at GW's pricing strategies some times by pricing items that are readily available else where at significantly more then market cost you just make all your other products look over priced. It’s not like they are going to sell significant volumes of modelling tools.
