Welcome to Librarium Online!
Bell of Lost Souls has some rumors up about a possible 5th edition of 40k along with new codex rumors.
I apologize if this already has a thread i did a few searches and come up with nothing.
Me I'm not too thrilled since I'm new to 40k and just learned and bought the rules, though it looks like they aren't adding too much.
40k: Witch Hunters, starting Dark Eldar
Warmahordes: Cryx; Circle
They didn't re-do all of the 3rd edition Codices, yet are already going for 5th?
Doesn't make sense to me.
Yeah, really. Why the mad dash for a new rulebook? It couldn't be due to fan pressure. They're screaming for new codices, NOT a new rulebook. Sheesh!
A new rulebook strikes me as extraordinarily unnecessary. They just released 4th edition, and making their gamers buy another rulebook will seriously undermine their fanbase.
As for the rest. Trenchcoat guard would be cool. No codex inquisition is bad, especially with the damage done to daemonhunter rules with the new chaos codex. All in all though, I'd take this set of rumors with a grain of salt, since it goes against much of what was said at the Baltimore Games Day.

If this rumor is true, my buddies and I will probably not play the new rules, and/or will find a way to get them rather than pay the d-bags at GW. I hope it isn't true, regardless of the trashing to the rumor provider's reputation involved.
Nids & Guard
GMail = MVBrandt
All I can say is YIPPEEE, back to second edition
16,000+ of Eldar (only need flyers)
7,000+ of Nids (want heirophant)
6,000+ of Space Marines (need rever titan)
4,400+ of Cygnar (all models for the faction)
1,500+ of Legion (just started)
Wow, finally something to back me up. The manager of my Local GW told me at the start of the summer that 40K will be getting a redo soon, along with the new SM codex being released (like we really want that, but GW cant have SM not being the strongest now list can they...)
That would suck, but, if in the greater scheme of things, new core book would level the field between old and new codices somehow....
