This was posted by ObiWan on Warseer. The Shock Attack Gun formation is going to break hearts. It is probably the source of the "Don't cross the beams" thing I heard about. 8Y

I've seen 3 new formations, won't go into a lot of detail since I guess they are supposed to be released with the new codex, and I don't want to get my contacts into trouble.
Green Tide: 1 Warboss and 100+ orkz, they have move through cover and multiple waaghs, plus they roll 3 dice on the army waagh.
Shok Attak Battery: 3+ plus big meks plus new snotling unit, you use the apocalyptic barrage with the number in () being the number of meks. If combined, when getting a triple result they create a vortex grenade in the template center, but on triple 1 all meks are removed and the vortex is created on the site of the firing.
Trukk Konvoy: 3+ trukks, strategic redeployment, you can hit a trukk within formation with a S6 hit to add 2D6" to his movement.

The trukk konvoy doesn't sound very useful, trukks move fast enough as it is!

Shokk Attack battery

Green tide, can it include Nobz and other ork units?

The shokk attack battery sounds rather mental.

I like the horde of boyz one, should be quite fun to see my mate use that one.

I am looking forward to using the Shock Attak Battery myself when I get an Ork army after my growing Chaos Spacemarine Army finishes growing.

Back in 2nd edition, I thought Shok Attak Guns were the coolest thing ever. This new formation sounds like a lot of fun. Too bad I already have more armies than I can paint.
