Hi all, I wonder if someone can confirm a rumour I've seen pop up on the internet a couple of times now.
I understand that theres going to be a couple of "minor" Space Marine releases during the year, but I've seen mention of a new SM Land Speeder (some sort of transport?) on more than one occasion now.
I rather like the new shape Speeder (yes, mock me all you like) and, given I was planning a Speeder/transport conversion, I'd be rather interested to know if a GW model is on the way.
Anyone heard/know if theres any truth behind the rumour?
I have heard this rumor as well. I assumed they would be like the tiny helicopters in the movie 'Black Hawk Down' with 4-5 SM scouts haging off the sides of a landspeeder with skids, ready to leap off on landing.

Could save me a lot of effort if GW released the model for me though!
I think it's likely we'll see a recut landspeeder that also contains the parts to build it into a tornado or typhoon.

If that IS what GW are going to produce then I'll stick with a conversion as I don't think a stretch land speeder is a "realistic" conversion, I'd rather go with something a similar length to the regular speeder.
If the rumours about a new SM in the near future proof true, I'm sure we'll see new stuff being released along with it. So a new LS might happen!
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.
